Dr. Lawrence Bircoll, MD

Dr. Bircoll removed some hardware that was put in when I was in NC 10 years ago. It wasn’t easy to remove but I now can sit in comfort. Thanks Dr. Bircoll and your kind and thoughtful staff.

Rude, defensive, provides misinformation and says he didn't.

I went in to see Dr. Bircoll because I was experiencing some pain in my arm. He was so personable, patient, and easy to talk to about my symptoms. I didn’t feel rushed or anything. He diagnosed me with and I was in and out very quickly. I would see him again if necessary.

I had a pain in both knees. Dr. Bircoll treated a year ago. He treated this year too. He took time to explain & then treat me. I can not ask any better.

The Dr was very friendly and personable, he explained everything in regards to diagnosis and treatment. He was awesome I would definitely recommend his service to anyone needing orthopedic treatment of any kind

This was my first visit to this physician. Dr. Bircoll and staff were excellent, thorough and efficient. I will definitely continue with him and his team. I recommend him without reservation.

I came in for pain in both knees. In my initial interview with the nurse, she suggested that my problem could involve my back, despite my not having any symptoms there, but ended up x-raying only one knee and my back. My interaction with Dr. Bircoll was friendly, but after providing me with a diagnosis based on the x-rays, it lacked any specific instructions for follow up care, suggestions for managing the diagnosis, or any information on the diagnosis itself, despite me asking if there was anything I should or should not do to manage it. After leaving at the end of the appointment, the doctor returned in about five minutes, sat down, and began asking me questions about my arm and foot, clearly confusing me for another patient. Pain medication was ordered, but when I went to pick it up, the pharmacy told me that the medication ordered “does not exist”. I did not feel my needs were met and I will be going elsewhere for a second opinion and follow up care.

Dr. Bircoll was friendly, professional, explained his thought process, and resolved my issue. I’d definitely return to see him if needed.

He took care to answer my every question and consider my lifestyles when recommending treatment.

He answers any and all questions asked he doesn't sugar coat anything.

I called after hours for complications post-surgery and although he wasn’t the dr. who performed the surgery, we spoke to him because he was the doctor on-call. Instead of answering our questions or helping at all, he chose to be incredibly difficult and rude. He basically said, too bad there’s nothing you can do just wait until tomorrow. We were concerned about the wound and I’m just confused as to why he was on call when he clearly didn’t want to listen to patients.

Dr. Bircoll was laid back someone I felt I could relate and talk to. Gave positive reinforcement to my workout methods and relayed the information about my health in a forthright understandable language.

Great bedside manner. Puts me at ease, and comfortable that the plan of action is right. I get great results.
