Dr. Buckland and all of the Docs at Paoli Family Medicine are really good. The office staff, paying bills, having to get through on the phone is an utter nightmare (they are never back by 1:15 from a lunch break...and what office doesn’t have phone coverage???). I am so frustrated with the Office staff and operations, I am leaving the practice. It’s a shame. The doctors should get a clue & hire a decent Office Manager...

I feel Dr. Buckland is an excellent family practitioner. He looks at you when he speaks to you and answers any questions you have where you can understand him. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable physician.

Recently established Paoli Family Medicine as my Family Practice. They where recommended by my previous doctor who retired. I was very disappointed by my experience with Dr. Buckland. Misdiagnosed my problem and offered no course of treatment that had any effect. Never returned the 3 phone call I made to him at his suggestion if the condition did not improve. Finally I made it to Dr. Katin who granted is a specialist but has a direction and making progress from the first visit.

I recommend Dr. Buckland without reservation. He is very responsive to patient concerns, very personable, and will take time to explain any medical questions necessary. He is obviously a warm and caring person. I have been a patient of his for ten years.

He is not very proactive or responsive. I found him to be disinterested when I had to undergo surgeries due to surgeon error. Although he was copied on all procedures and lab reports, he made no attempt to make any contact to touch base. Anytime you have a physical or lab tests you have to chase him down to get results and he will use his staff to convey the information. There is no opportunity to ask questions.
