Dismissive, subpar listening skills
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Dr. Iteld. My ENT referred me to Dr. Iteld due to the recent appearance of bumps on the side of my nose and inside my nose that he suspected were cysts. Despite clearly articulating my concerns regarding the bumps on the side of my nose, Dr. Iteld was dismissive and argumentative, insisting they were bones. Regardless of my mentioning multiple experiences with a prior doctor who performed an unsuccessful nasal surgery, likely resulting in current bumps on my nose, Dr. Iteld persisted in recommending a return to this doctor as my only option. Furthermore, his demeaner was notably condescending when he interrupted me, displaying outright disinterest in hearing the details of my previous experience with the surgeon. The entire appointment lasted no longer than fifteen minutes. Based on this encounter, I would advise seeking care elsewhere for a more attentive and respectful experience.

Awesome! Great personality, explained everything, great bedside manner. I had 3 procedures this year 2021. Every follow-up he was so kind and considerate. He takes the time to listen to you, thoroughly checks you and explains what you need done and how it will be done. Not sure why anyone would have anything bad to say about him. I am so comfortable with him I actually feel like of his office staff lol. One more surgery to go! If I could give him more that 5 stars I would. Thank you Dr. Iteld for everything!

Just had to have a drain installed after a recent breast explant surgery. What I'm reading and what people don't fully understand is that your body is your OWN. What it does post surgery no one can predict. I fully understood that the explant could not necessarily be the last of it. What I love most about Dr. Iteld is that he is real and forthcoming with information (and with a quite witty and dry humor). He explains every option and the possible results and walks you through it every step of the process. I've had years of complications and revisions through a couple of other surgeons...and as I've mentioned in a previous post, have researched surgeons in Chicago endlessly to finally be at peace with my body. Not for a second have I ever questioned my decision. His office is professional, his staff is incredibly personable (shout out to Caryle!)...and knowledgeable, and the doc himself is all of the above. I'm not generally a person who writes reviews, but this one is so worth it!

Completely condescending and rude. Came in for a consult which I was charged $100 for. I asked him if I could ask him some questions and he said "make it speedy". he told me we only had a few minutes left although I was told the consult would be an hour. He showed up 30 mins late to our appointment and then had the audacity to tell me I had to make my questions speedy? He seemed like he didn't know too much about the Procedures compared to other doctors I met. A bad doctor all around.

Very rude. Mostly because he didn't have the experience to preform surgery on a complicated case, like mine.
