Dr. Lawrence Langan, MD

This morning my daughter had a procedure done by Dr. Larry Langan. As always, he is so caring and understanding of your concerns. Both my husband and I have been patients of his for many years, and he never ceases to impress me with his expertise, kindness and extreme knowledge of all his patients health concerns.May God bless him for being the kind of doctor that fulfills every requirement of being the most qualified doctor in his dedicated profession.

I am thrilled to have found Dr Langan. I mostly avoid doctors and do my own research because they are like robots with a prescription pad. I wanted an abdominal examination as they have trained hands. I thought maybe there might be something blocking the efficient movement within the intestine. He did not prescribe one drug, but did describe the use of one that might be rather good at eliminating sibo. He encouraged me to continue with the diet changes I had made. There was no pressure. I'm terrified of antibiotics since they were given to me recklessly over a 15yr period and I believe they are the main cause of my intestinal issues. I will explore the probiotic he reccommeneded to see if I want to try it. If Im not successful I will return to him for further examination.

The reception staff, anesthesiologist & Dr Langan are all fabulous! This is a great office in both professionalism & compassion. Maryann is the best!! Kudos for such a pleasant and calming experience!

I went in for an endoscopy, very nervous, but after speaking to Dr.Larry he made me feel so at ease. He’s such a great doctor and easy to speak to. So personal, takes care of all your needs and takes the time to actually talk to you and explain things. I would 100% recommend him!

Dr Langan has very good bedside manners and explains conditions well. Staff are friendly, too.

I made an appt for my first colonoscopy. From the receptionist staff to the Dr Langan, they were all so nice and comforting. I was a nervous wreck and the anesthesia Dr (Wish I caught his name) was making me laugh the whole time. Dr Langan is so calm and made me feel very comfortable. They all made this whole procedure much easier for me. I would recommend him to anyone. Especially nervous Nellies like me.

Dr Langan is a really good physician. He is better to talk to than Dr Megna. Unfortunately because of the attitude of the office staff and their billing mistakes, I had to leave this office. This is a real shame. They were supposed to be billing mistakes but could be very well they are not honoring insurances and trying to milk more out of the patients pockets. That woman Marie should not be working there as an office manager

Dr Langan is a great Doctor . He is very calming to talk to the only problem is getting to him. You called the place and you are on hold for over half hour or more . Calls are not return sometimes . Took me a month to set up a colonoscopy. Very frustrating when dealing with this part otherwise Dr Langan is great if you can get through the office part. I hope office management gets better.

He found my stomach cancer in early stages,after the surgery, I didn’t have to receive Chemotherapy or Radiation treatments

I am currently being treated by Dr Langan. He has performed both a colonoscopy and an endoscopy on me in the past couple of weeks. Dr. Langan has been a wonderful doctor. He has been a calming force, as I had many questions and concerns. In fact, Dr Langan called me this evening to answer some of my lingering questions. Dr. Langan is one of the nicest, most caring physicians my husband and I have ever gone to. He takes ample time to ask questions and make you feel comfortable as a patient. I have underwent procedures with him and he has consistently put me at ease and treated my conditions accordingly. He’s a rare find on Staten Island.

Dr Lagan is the most knowledgable doctor I have ever dealt with for any medical issues I've had. He is always available and had the most calming demeanour which is contagious.

Had a colonoscopy 6 weeks ago and an upper g.i. done 5 weeks ago...as per dr, called following week left message.no return phone call, called following week left message.no return phone call.c called today. about two weeks later.spoke to a Linda and she hung up on me because I wanted to know why no rep from her office ever called me back.unbelievable!..... office staff way out of line..

If I could give a zero I would.Met with him & was sent me for an endo & colonoscopy.After going for both procedures he did not Call and give me my results,I called and was told everything came back fine.I was still feeling the same pain in my stomach so I decided to go get a second opinion.I found out I have Crohn's & if I waited 6more months it could've possibly turned into stomach cancer not only that but he sent me a bill for 600$ after my insurance already paid him.. Don't waste your time

Dr. Langan is an exceptionally kind & knowledgeable doctor. He takes his time explaining everything and is always willing to answer any questions. He is very professional and he speaks to you a manner that is understanding to the patient and re-assuring, as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Langan to my family & friends
