Dr Lunsford has excellent credentials & expertise
I received Radiation treatment from Dr. Lunsford today. The procedure was very well laid-out ahead of time and everyone involved knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Also excellent patient relations and a lot of attention given to re-assuring the patient. I gave him 5-stars, because there was no way to give him 7.

Absolutely devastated
After receiving a Gamma knife treatment from Dr. Lunsford I'm now an epileptic and gave permanent brain damage. I just found out it was not just residual swelling from the treatment 4 years ago but radiation damage around my tumor that will never go away. I have seizures frequently so I'm unable to drive and had to stop working. Since the procedure was done in 2018 the statute of limitations is up eventhough I just found out last month about the permanent damage it caused. I regret having this procedure and recommend anyone considering it to get a second opinion so this doesn't happen to you

If I could give this man no stars I would. But I’ll settle for one star like my sister has to settle for being on anti seizure medicine for the rest of her life because Dr. Lunsford decided to screw up her gamma knife surgery and then refuse to accept any responsibility for his actions. Now her seizures are severe and she has swelling around a tumor that have her no issues prior to the surgery. She had this procedure done in 2018 and the statute of limitations has come and gone for her even though it’s only been three years.. three years of hell trying to figure out where to go from here. She is a beautiful, talented aesthetician who doesn’t even wanna go to work now because she is in fear of having an episode in front of her beloved clients. Imagine how embarrassing that would be? Don’t even get me started on his God like complex of thinking that he couldn’t have possibly messed anything up. Refuses to hear anyone else's opinions of it unless it’s like his own.

I had Gamma Knife yesterday. I want to help anyone who is a candidate for such understand not what it is but the actual pricedure. It is not the most pleasant thing but it is nowhere near as bad as I feared. First, let's talk about Dr. Lunsford. I know many doctors as I am a lawyer and I've deposed them. I've spent 1/2 hour or so with many before those depositions. They can be egomaniacs. Dr Lunsford is one lovable guy. He is clearly a word renowned neurosurgeon but he doesn't act like it.
