I was very appreciative that Dr. Shearer was able to see me right away for a serious ear infection. He was extremely competent and professional in addressing the problem. His staff were very compassionate and helpful in scheduling my appointment without delay. I would highly recommend Dr. Shearer to anyone looking for an ENT Doctor.

Our county health department "strongly recommends" that doctors and staff wear masks in their offices during the COVID outbreak. In this office neither was, when I went for my first appointment yesterday. I asked that they do so during my visit, but they refused. The doctor was very aggressive on the subject, and a poor communicator. I was so uncomfortable, I left without completing the visit. Also, the office uses ozone as a disinfectant. I've done some research. Consensus is that this is a dubious practice against viruses, and that high ozone levels cause lung damage. I give this office one star for cleanliness.
