Dr. Lawrence Wong, MD

My Dad recently experienced what diagnosed by his eye doctor as Cranial nerve 6 palsy with concern of a possible stroke as a cause. My dad was told to be seen by his doctor asap. I called to make the appointment for my dad because his vision was not well. I explained when I made the appointment that it was urgent, and a complete physical and blood work was needed. I even asked if maybe we good get the blood work done before the appointment. I was told the soonest appointment they had was 3 weeks away. I again stressed how urgent this appointment was and asked if there was anything sooner. I was advised we should make the appointment and she would let the nurse know so they can call us if something opened sooner. Fast forward to today his appointment. Dr. Wong didn't even spend 15 minutes with my dad, nor did he order lab work. He told my dad to come back inn 3 months and then they will run labs. Total lack of urgency or concern for the care of my dad's very serious health issues.

Dr Wong is always wonderful. Great bedside Manner and I always feel cared for .

The care was excellent. He pointed out medication I discontinued unintentionally to resume taking.

I wish all facets of my life went this well!

I won't recommend this location. I have no faith in medical personnel that push false information nit based in science. My husband and I will not be returning to this location and will avoid Optum, if we can, w our next primary.

In my opinion, Dr. Wong is a caring and attentive physician. He uses a common-sense approach, and he explains his findings in detail, in a way that is understandable.

Very good! Dr. Wong review all current prescribed medications, described all options for treatment, e.g. varicose veins, circulation, swollen foot, skin lesions, and allowed ample two-way discussions on all topics so that all my questions and concerns were fully addressed.

I had a blood test [omitted], that went well. I had a yearly wellness exam [omitted]. The office had my [omitted] results but did not communicate them to the Dr. The Dr had no new results to evaluate, and he sent me for another blood test! Also please have your instructions for fasting to include NOT drinking anything with artificial sweeteners

I have been with this practice for many years and I agree, it's declining. The front office is unhelpful and lacks communication skills. Do they ever read their horrible reviews? Pain, infections, fever gets scheduled out 3 weeks. Now, I just go to urgent care or an ER with prolong fever and pain. I had never used an urgent care in the past. (Sorry to waste their precious resources, but the care is thorough). Also, testing and follow thru seems to be lacking at Dr. Wong's office. I hope they improve their front office etiquette; I really do like Dr. Wong.

I was a patient of Dr. Wong's for many years. He is very professional, experienced, with a good bedside manner.

Great new clean organized office. Dr. Wong was his usual attentive self. Sadly one of his nursing aides was not wearing her mask properly, it was not covering mouth and nose. I felt this was disrespectful of patients welfare.

I had a sizeable mole on my cheek. A shave biopsy was done. A couple of weeks later pathology called and told me the treatment plan and scheduled an appt on Friday of that week (a few days ago). I was having it removed. I misunderstood. Dr. Wong explained that he could remove it that day but would rather play it safe and give me antibiotics to take 24 days prior to the surgery. He told his asst. to schedule it on Monday and to if he didn't have the availability to let him know. Well his schedule was full, she went back to his office to tell him. She came back out and told me to come in Monday at noon that he would do it on his lunch hour. Amazing service from I'm sure a very busy Dr. I came back in, he did the procedure very meticulously. It was very clear to me that he really cared. That matters. He was very friendly as well. I'm sure the follow up will be more of the same. I highly recommend him.
