She is the most Efficient, Professional & Friendliest Doctor I have ever seen!! Her warm and compassionate characteristics stands above the rest.After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I was referred by my PCP to see her. She was so sympathic to my needs.Her explanation and diagrams she draw showed exactly what we were dealing with. I along with my husband was scared, but was reassured by Dr Blackwell all would be will. I stand on God's word because he had shhown me her in a dream. My surgery was schedule in about 1 week, very fast and all went well, as the suffix of her name state, WELL!! God bless you. Without a shadow of a doubt, I would certainly recommend Dr Blackwell. She was outstanding! I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago and was fortunate to have Dr Lea Blackwell as my surgeon. She was able to operate on me a few days after the diagnosis but, more importantly, she provided incredible support and readily answered every question we had. I highly recommend Dr Blackwell if you have a surgical need. Her staff, particularly, Diane, were reliable, followed up promptly and made this process as easy as possible. Dr. Blackwell came into my 79 year old mothers hospital room while I was there and was the rudest, condescending doctor I have ever met in my life. You wait for doctors to come in so you can ask questions. She made us feel our questions were stupid and told us she was busy because she had 50 other patients and gave me the exact minutes which was under 10 she had for each patient. I fired her and asked for another doctor. She may be a good surgeon but I wouldn't let her treat my goldfish.

Dr. Blackwell made me feel at ease before, during, and after my procedure. She explains everything thoroughly and is supportive and encouraging, which is just what I needed during the scary time of a double lumpectomy.

I would never recommend Dr. Blackwell to anyone. She was curt, and, undoubtedly the rudest doctor that I have ever had to see. She reduced me to tears and I could not get out of her office fast enough. I was sent to see her by my surgeon for a consultation and, by the time I left, she attempted to take over as my surgeon, and, went so far as to make an appointment with another specialist, (without my knowledge) leading the specialist's office staff to believe that she was my surgeon.
