It was a truly terrible experience. I waited an hour and half to be seen by the doctor, who didn’t apologize for the delay. When she finally came in, she prodded and poked, but said there was nothing she could do.

Dr. Lowenfeld is the BEST
I started seeing Dr. Lowenfeld for a condition I've had for years. I changed to her from a different doctor and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Lowenfeld is so thoughtful and put my mind at ease during my appointments. In addition, I saw her for my first colonscopy last week had the most comforting and calming experience. Her staff is kind and considerate, her office is spotless, everyone is clear and takes time to answer questions. The hospital she is affiliated with (New York-Presbyterian) is top notch. As I mentioned, I have been going to her for a few years and have always felt incredibly comfortable with her, so I knew that she would make the colonoscopy as easy as possible. She's excellent. I can't say it enough. Dr. Lowenfeld is simply the best. I highly recommend her.

my reaction on first meeting her was she was young and inexperienced so I was surprised at how thorogh and take charge she was. Thorough, smart , clear and friendly. I thought she did an excellent job.
