Lovely prenatal care, Beautiful delivery
I work with all the OBGYNs at Renown and chose Dr. Najima as my own doctor because I love how skilled, compassionate, direct, and caring she is; not to mention her great sense of humor. She was so good to us. I am so very thankful for such a smooth delivery and attribute much of that to Dr. Najima's patience and experience.

Cruel and Heartless
'Hi, I'm Dr. Najima. If you don't have your baby in 30 mins I'm meeting you in the OR for a c-section.' It's been 2 years since my daughter was born and the amount of birth trauma I have processed since is astounding, but not a day goes by that I don't hate this woman for her coldness and cruelty.

I had Dr. Leah Najima as my OB/GYN throughout my pregnancy with my son. Her bedside manner was beyond hideous during all encounters. At the first visit, she had me shake my breasts for an exam. She also performed a transvaginal ultrasound for the first ultrasound instead of a traditional ultrasound. Before this decision, it was not explained why a transvaginal US would be chosen. Later in the pregnancy, she pressured me to be tested for diabetes. She said even a skinny lady such as herself had it. She implied that I, at 190 lbs and 5’10”, likely had gestational diabetes. I started the pregnancy at a healthy weight, however, and gained appropriately. I was tested and did not have gestational diabetes and she never apologized. She questioned my Filipino-born physician husband where he went to school. When he revealed he went to medical school in the United States, she balked. I have waited to review this doctor, but I do not want other women to experience what I did.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Najima when I found out I was pregnant. A couple of weeks before my appointment, I began to bleed. I called Dr. Najima to see if she could take me in sooner; per doctor request. Her office told me that Dr. Najima would review my file and call me later. She NEVER called me back! I had a miscarriage 3 days later. The ER Dr. recommended more hCG blood work & a follow up with my OBGYN (Dr. Najima.) When I called to request a bloodwork lab request, I was told that Dr.Najima would no longer see me. Their exact words were “she will not see you as you are no longer pregnant.” I was told by her office to schedule an appointment with a regular gynecologist. Her name is listed on the list of regular gynecologist! She could have still seen me! Long story short, I still do need an OBGYN to see that my miscarriage is complete without any further complications. She doesn't seem to care about her patients. Their lack of caring was beyond hurtful.

She’s no warm at all. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with her for my first pregnancy. She treated me like I was a number. The day I went into labor, she was there at the hospital and she told me she’s going home. It was the end of her shift but you can just tell and feel she didn’t care about me. I went through 3 doctors that day and ended with a postpartum hemorrhage. I will not be going to her again for anything. After the pandemic, I’m going to switch doctors for my second pregnancy.

Dr. Najima is not someone you want delivering your baby. She has good days and bad days just like everyone, but if you see her on a day that isnt a good day for her, she will take it out on you. The first appointment I had with her, she was very rude and not welcoming, but I thought she was just having a bad day so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She was fine through most of my pregnancy, but shes very fast. I think she has a hard time with first time parents because she was very fast with my husband and I, always. She never gave us a lot of time to ask the questions we wanted answered. I had to change to a new OB to deliver my baby this past week because Dr. Najima decided to leave the door open to the room I was in during my appointment and yell some very nasty and not okay words to me. I left embarrassed and mortified to walk back into her office after that. I also left feeling uncomfortable with the thought of her delivering my baby.

Front desk girls are so busy answering phone and making other appointments when you go in for your appointment it's almost like youre bothering them by checking in. najima was nice until my last appointment (I had only seen her twice) because I was not able to make that months payment.... I was told I wasn't able to come back. Since it was my last appointment najima was cold and basically wished me luck and that was it. mind u they haven't even run my insurance to see what I will be really owing

If you are looking for a doctor never available, who never answer question properly, who only care about money, who will keep stressing you, who always harry to be done with you, then you won't see her anymore: Doctor Najima Leah Md is the perfect one. Definitely I will never go back there and I won't recommend her to anyone. Her scan is not clear and she will probably send you to the Perinatal Associates. And you will pay extra money. I am 35sa and didn't deliver yet but hope it will be fine.

Dr. Najima is compassionate, loving and knowledgeable. She has cried with me and laughed with me and has always been very honest and hopeful when we thought we would not be able to have a baby. She still asks for pictures of our little girl 9 years later. I am so grateful I chose her to be my OB/GYN.
