Dr. Leandro Bernardo, MD

My daughter is a college student at Oswego, who lives 6 hours away from us. She went to the ER at Oswego Health, with a fever of almost 104 fever and a rash all over her body. Dr Bernardo kept us in the loop of her care and gave updates on the numerous tests that were run. He called us to relay any updates as well as spending time with us at her bedside explaining things as they tried to figure out what the strange virus was that she had. He put our minds at ease during a very difficult and stressful time. The only issue we had, was the results from her spinal tap taking so long, but obviously he had no control over that, as that was sent away for testing because they're such a small hospital. Dr Bernardo was kind, caring and made himself available to us. Very personable too. Thank you Dr. Bernardo!
