Krauth’s pinpoint accuracy in removing most of pituitary adenoma via tsh in 1982 saved my vision and my life (combined w/ radiation). Wilford Hall cafeteria- watching Krauth carve his grapefruit without the slightest citrus spray gave me great confidence beforehand. He was very kind and patient with the knitting crowd in my room. Though I was 17, he gave detailed, straightforward, honest answers even when the news was not all positive. Great visits on the followups, too. My admiration stands 40+ great years later.
