I saw Dr. Swanson for a regular OB visit. She was dismissive, rude, and spoke over me as I was trying to address concerns in my pregnancy. She did not make me feel safe. I will never make an appointment with her again. She should not be practicing if she is going to remain this cold to expectant mothers.

i refuse to call swanson a doctor because she is absolutely terrible and does not deserve her degree. i went in for cysts on my ovaries, in bad pain but bearable. however, after literally telling me i need to deal with the pain and there was nothing she could do, she gave me an exam (although she had my ultrasounds right in front of her and was not scheduled to do an exam) i was in obvious pain and discomfort, and she snickered when she asked “did i make it hurt more?” i left feeling extremely violated and in severe pain. i genuinely left in more pain than i arrived with. this woman does not deserve her license and to treat the public. she is not only a health risk, but, in my mind, a p r e d a t o r. (content guidelines did not allow for me to use that word without spaces. however , it is exactly how i would describe her.)

Dr. Swanson was extremely dismissive and sighed through most of my appointment. She seemed annoyed at my asking questions and was more concerned with ending the appointment than being present in it with me. As a first time mom this stressed me out. I had a lot of questions as did my husband. She was only concerned about moving it along. I will never see her again.

I will never ever see this woman again! I was not only in tears during my appointment with her, but I also left in tears completely horrified. She interrogated me as if I was up to something, she accused me of things that were not true, and then thought she was going to examine me. The problem I went in for was left untreated and I was given no answers. She did the best job she could making me feel like I was crazy and my visit was not warranted. Please don’t let this woman ever treat you!

Not only is she a horrible doctor, she is a horrible human being. She used a broken machine on me, causing substantial damage. While I was in the hospital having emergency surgery to repair the damage, she refused to speak with my doctors.

She was 50 minutes late to my appointment with no apology. She must think her time is the only valuable time. Dr. Swanson seemed agitated with my questions and was extremely rude. I would prefer to not see her as my doctor or have her delivery my baby.

At the time of my last visit I was a 64 year old patient. I didn't need a Pap smear, just a pelvic exam. When Dr. Swanson inserted the specula I was in severe pain telling her so and saying "ouch, ouch, ouch". Her only response was that my muscles are atrophied and the tissue thin causing the pain. I have never had an experience like this and will not return to her.

Unfortunately Dr. Swanson was on rotation during my labor induction attempt. After laboring for 22-25 hours I told her I wanted a C-section. I told her my back hurt too much to push even if I was dilated enough (which I was not). She attributed my immense back pain to the uncomfortable beds. Fortunately a much better Doctor came on rotation several hours later to deliver my 9lb 12 oz baby via C-section. My impression of her was that she was cold, uncaring, and condescending.
