Dr. Leon Maratchi, MD

Dr. Maratchi makes you feel at ease, I was so scared of having this procedure and him and his staff was amazing from the office visit till after the procedure , I highly recommend him he’s the best doctor ever .

I have had the privilege to have Dr. Marachi has my gastro for many years! He has always been kind, caring and a great listener! Sees you prior to a procedure and makes sure you understand what will be done! After my colonoscopy and endoscopy, he personally class with the results! Please don’t judge him on the call center!

This was not the first time I have seen or had a procedure done by Dr Maratchi and I have always felt that I was receiving the best care by a very qualified professional!! Not to sound corny but I truly trust him with my life!!! The staff at memorial west could not be better as well!!

Desafortunadamente el personal que maneja las comunicaciones y que son la cara hacia el público de este Dr. (gastro Healh) es extremadamente grosero y poco profesional, han tenido el atrevimiento de cancelarle una cita a mi esposa (paciente de cáncer) sin previo aviso y luego mantenerme al teléfono que fue un error de su propio sistema y que ellos ni nadie en su organización podrían resolver el problema, tanto el personal en español (Sta. ANA) como el personal en inglés (Miss ELLEN) carecen absolutamente de los principios básicos para tratar con público, es una vergüenza que personal tan poco calificado sea la primera línea de contacto de estos doctores. Dr. Leon Maractchi, por favor manténgase atento a esta gran falla operacional que lo perjudica a usted y a sus colegas.

Approximately 2 weeks a go, my husband had an endoscopy done at Dr. Maratchi’s Endoscopy Suite in Cooper City. My husband was very impressed with his staff. They treated him with kindness and with the utmost professionalism. Dr. Maratchi was kind and thorough. My husband was very impressed with the overall experience. Highly recommends Dr. Maratchi.

Had a routine colonoscopy which was 4 years overdue . He was very detailed and reassuring . The procedure went fine and his followup and staff the very best !! Highly recommend Dr Maratchi for any type of colon problems.

Attentive, to the point, and professional. After recently feeling like my symptoms were dismissed as solely psychosomatic by multiple doctors, Dr. Maratchi was the first to take my symptoms seriously. It’s not often doctors take the steps he ordered on younger patients, but he showed a deep understanding that other doctors didn’t. A doctor that acknowledges your existence. Great experience.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Maratchi this morning. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH! Prompt check-in, super kind and efficient staff, Dr. Maratchi was incredibly kind, thorough and went beyond to give me samples, talk about self-care and overall gastric health. I am floored by the ease of scheduling my colonoscopy & the speed and efficiency of the entire experience. He is WONDERFUL!! I’m not scared anymore :) If you need a gastro, consider Dr. Maratchi.

I will never recommend this dr. He’s arrogant and all he cares about is prescribing you with pills without knowing your condition. Waist of my time and my money

Dr. Maratchi is one of the kindest physicians I have ever encountered. He is always so patient and genuinely cares about his patients. I am extremely grateful for the care I have received over the last year from him.

Dar. Maratchi was excellent. He was the first doctor I have seen who took the time to listen to me and will help me with my Crohn's disease. He is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable. His staff is very nice and helpful as well.

I have dealt with many doctors both in my work in hospitals and as a patient. By far, Dr. Maratchi is one of the strangest and clueless doctors I have ever met. I will not go into the procedure he performed, except to say that it was painful. I have had this procedure in the past and it was not painful and was successful for over 12 years. The procedures he did were not successful in alleviating my problem. His explanations for the failure and what I should do next made no sense. Stay away!

Dr. Maratchi is fantastic. On my first visit he spent at least 20 min talking about how to change my diet in order to alleviate symptoms I am experiencing (instead of sending me for expensive testing that he would have made more money on!). He answered all my questions and then some. So important for doctors to address root causes of health issues & work with patients to come up with long term solutions, rather than throwing a prescription at you and calling it a day. Highly recommend!

One of the worst doctors I have ever encountered. He was rude and very unprofessional. Did not listen to a word I said. He was in too much of a hurry.
