Not willing to cure me!
He refused to give the medication I needed to be cured, after he gave me all these promises about wat he was going to prescribe. I got none of that. 3 medications that I never saw. Instead prescribed me meds for something I didn't have. I told him I wouldn't take them. Because I didn't have that problem. Unfortunately, the negative reviews are soooo correct! I didn't know bout the drug addiction part, but it explains my treatment at the hospitals though! I'm going to have to switch.

I was his patient for many years. I changed Dr's due to the long waiting times. But I recently reconnected with him at the hospital & I'm returning to his care. He is a good Dr, his bedside manner is amazing, he listens to me on how I'm feeling. His office staff for the most part SUCKS, but there are a few that are pleasant. I feel he really cares.

He only cares about milking your insurance. Sad to say that if you go to any of the metro Detroit DMC Hospitals, and you tell them Ellison your doctor, they'll assume you're an drug addict

Waiting area is full of drug addicts and they harass you for medications. The office staff is very rude and hides behind the glass window. His wife is very nice and helpful...on the off chance that you can get to her. Dr. Ellison Jr. promises he will look into specialists and other things but he never does. I left a doctor that I had for 20 yrs because I thought Ellison was an upstanding guy, my conditions have worsened and I'm stuck with him. He does not keep his word but puts on a great front.
