Dr. Leonid Topper, MD

Dr. Topper has been seeing my daughter for 7 years. As she needs to be on meds, he’s always asking questions, updating and is knowledgeable. I’ve always received answers to my questions. I like his new practice better than his previous practice. Will continue to take my daughter to see him.

Dr. Topper has cared for both my children on and off for over 9 years. I have found him to be consistent, patient, and above all, caring. He recently changed practices and I have been happier with the support staff and communication.

Really appreciate the time, attention and extra effort he put into our son's case.

This office is a train wreck. Both the doctor and the staff are rude and unprofessional. I can't understand why my child's pediatrician sent me there. I will never go back.

The doctor was ok with my child but hardly answered my questions. He was hard to understand and had a thick accent. We rec'd a Dx of PDD with seemingly little to no support on where to go to get services and who to contact. The worst part about the visit was afterwards when we rec'd the report. A 5th grader could have written it and it was obvious to me another patient report was used as a template because what was written was not accurate and was not my child's history. We did not return.

Horrible place. My daughter had an appointment with him this month. She ended up getting I'll and staying in morristown hospital for over a week. I called to cancel the appointment so I didn't get charged. I called 2 days afted my daughter was discharged from the hospit and the receptionist said she already knows my daughter was in the system and had an appoinment,but dr. Topper wasn't accepting new patients. Thought this was really rude and un professional

The office staff was rude & uncaring they would charge you if you missed an appointment but have no problem letting you sit and wait for on average 45 or more for your appointments. When you ask when you will be going in or if they were running late why couldn't they call all you get is the Dr. sometimes run later. SOMETIMES more like every appointment I had they ran late with the exception of one that wasn't with Dr. Topper but with Dr Desossa. Needless to say we fired the Dr. and the staff.

Condescending attitude and changed him mind on prognosis even though evidence did not change.

Dr. Topper was amazing with my 10 year old son. He involved him throughout the appointment, talked directly to him in regards to why we were there, and involved him when discussing how we were going to proceed. He was very professional and thorough when discussing my son's history and listened to all of our concerns and questions. We didn't feel rushed at all and felt very good about our appointment.
