I had a horrible experience with Dr. Grammer. She is very abrasive and extremely rude. What really got me about her, though, was that I waited months to see her. She waited until 2 hours before my long-scheduled appointment to call me and tell me not to bother coming in because, in her exact words, I’d be a waste of her time. This would’ve been devastating enough had I received this call a week or so before the appointment. To do this to a patient with just a couple hours notice was beyond unprofessional and unacceptable. Because of Dr. Grammer’s gross disregard and unprofessionalism, myself and my family have decided never to have anything to do with any NWM facility ever again. Her behavior with me borders on negligence and her incredibly nasty attitude is something no patient should ever have to endure.

Don’t waste your time. If you want an attentive doctor who listens to your concerns and works with you to come up with a treatment plan that fits your needs, go any where else. I’ve seen her 3 times and each time was the same. After difficulty getting an appointment in a timely matter - it usually takes weeks to months to get in - I waited for 2+ hours in the exam room to see her. When she finally shows up, she’s extremely rushed and distracted. She couldn’t be bothered to take the time with me to talk through my options and concerns. During my first appointment I had, no joke, barely 30 seconds with her after waiting for 2 1/2 hours. During my recent appointment, I didn’t even get 2 minutes with her after waiting 2 hours. It’s ridiculous. Her office is a mess. I assume that’s a reflection of her management or lack thereof. I was also really shocked and disappointed by her condescending and dismissive manner. I received no care either time for my condition. I’ve never been treated like this by a physician. Extremely unprofessional.

I have been going to Dr. Grammer for an ongoing, relatively rare condition for many years. I am a well-educated professional (but not a doctor) and Dr. Grammer seems exceptionally intelligent. As a result, I understand that other reviewers may not feel connected to her (i.e., may not be impressed with her bedside manner), but if you want excellent medical care and you have a condition that falls within Dr. Grammer's wheelhouse, do not hesitate to go to her. She really knows her stuff.
