Excellent care
From the nurses to Dr. Massad himself, I felt respected and cared for. I ask a fair number of questions but never felt dismissed or rushed. Being new to the area and having previous issues, I am grateful that my physician research brought me to Dr. Massad.

Hopefully you just need an accurate diagnosis
My mother was a patient of his for under a year and unfortunately passed away, while the nurses and his partner were tremendously awesome.. He was rude and had zero bedside manner or empathy for a concerned family. I'm a nurse also, but the slightest question annoyed him. His partner tried to explain how he was very educated, but straight to the point. Still, Not ok..

I was referred to Dr. Massad after my pap smear came back with abnormal cells. One of his residents performed a LEEP and I have had terrible complications ever since with chronic infections of my cervix and severe spot bleeding every time after I exercise. I went back to see him about the complications and he kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain my symptoms and repeatedly told me everything was normal. My quality of life has suffered so much, and he couldn't even listen to what I had to say. Unacceptable. I hope no woman has to go through the experiences I have had.

Terrible he had no interest in what I had to say. Kept telling me about weak pelvic muscles when I was there for masses growing on my ovaries. He took away my patent referral for another doctor after I complained to VA.

He's an ONCOLOGIST GYN - not a new BFF! I would rather have a Dr who is so insanely intelligent & proficient at what he does than a smooth talker. I had a huge problem & was referred to him as the very best in his field. I was told - you won't love him, but he's the best there is. My OBGYN was wrong - I did love him. He got right to the point & saved me. I'm his biggest fan. He's quiet and not the most sociable - but he's the best Dr. out there. I believe in him. Haters, stop whining...

I highly recommend Dr. Massad and his team. He was my surgeon for a total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy with a vertical cut. No complications. Great recovery. Thank you Dr. Massad!!

Dr. Massad saw my wife summer 17 for pelvic pain at the VA. He insisted nothing was wrong with except for weak muscles (as he bragged to her he had just came from a conference about veteran woman having weak muscles). She had to argue with Dr. Massad to remove her IUD. He ordered an ultra sound performed in August 2017 which had findings that we're never communicated to us by Dr. Massad or the VA. She found out by ordering a copy of her record Apr 18. She requires surgery. He's a terrible Dr.

He really knows his stuff and for that I feel very well taken care of. Dr Massad takes the time to explain what is wrong and how my condition has progressed so that I understand plus he listens to my questions and answers. He is very direct and to the point which helps. For a doctor who has to tell me my test results say i'm dying I like him a lot.
