Dr.Smith is literally the most amazing doctor I have ever been to, let alone the best addiction psychiatrist I have ever seen and I have been to a few throughout my 8 years of sobriety and being in a MAT Program! He takes the time to listen and truly cares what you have to say. His staff is amazing as well. Leah and Bonnie truly care about the patients as well, they are considerate, courteous, and always willing to help! I appreciate Dr. Smith and his staff immensely. I wish that every doctor I saw was as amazing as all of them!

He is a very knowledgeable individual. Most all doctors iv been to in my life have treated me with judgments and mis understandings but dr smith has never once made me perceive him any other way but curious about my story and what events happened throughout my life. But also thoughtful and straight forward. I cant speak for others but I know iv never gotten along with a Dr before as good as I have with Dr Smith!

I see Dr. Smith for his specialty in "Addiction Medicine", & I've been treated by him for about 18 months now & I will say that he is a great physician & decent person! He listens to what I have to say & looks at the whole person vs just one area of one's being, & I appreciate that quality.

Dr. Smith is extremely brilliant when it comes to psychiatry... especially with complex cases and high needs patients. He takes into consideration all aspects of a patient’s life and is highly conscientious of medications he is prescribing and/or deprescribing. His compassion for quality patient care is phenomenal and he truly enjoys helping his patients live better and have more quality of life.

I went to Dr. Smith for awhile for drug addiction and after probably going over a year I messed up and began to go to a pain doctor again but after just one month I told Dr. Smith what I had done and instead of just putting me on probation or moving on he kicked me out. He acted like his office had found this out on their own and I was hiding it even though I was the one who told them. I would never recommend him to anyone because addicts make mistakes it's why they are there.
