Dr. Fox took plenty of time to listen to my husband and myself. He explained in detail what procedure was recommended and my suspected diagnosis. I could not have asked for anyone more thorough and compassionate.

This guy shouldn't be practicing medicine
I am so rip-roarin' pissed off right now that I can't see straight. Dr. Leverne Fox, who is a cardiologist here in Boone, should not be trusted with the care of animals, much less humans. My 85 year-old, very responsible dad had to cancel his appointment yesterday afternoon because he was so short of breath (blood oxygen level of 88 last night) and feels so bad (his blood pressure was also 180 over I can't remember what because I was still reeling from the 180 portion of the program whilst talking with the nurse last night). Basically, he's fine—if he doesn't move or stand up. Home health had to check him every two hours all night, and I convinced him to call this morning as it seems pretty likely that his heart is acting up again given these symptoms. The staff person who answered the phone said she was told in no uncertain terms that, because he didn't come to his regularly scheduled appointment, they would not work him in and would only give him an appointment in

Having over 20 yrs experience in wellness and disease prevention, I evaluate traditional medical practitioners with strict standards. Are they open minded ?, Do they take the time and Concern to Listen to their patients ?, What level of interest do they have regarding use of natural alternative means for treatment of heart disease ?, i.e. use of essential minerals, etc. Dealing with daily Angina, and after consulting five different Cardio specialist during four years of treatment, I feel really blessed having found Dr. Fox ! Unlike others, it's obvious that this man truly loves his work and demonstrates it to the fullest extent. I now feel that I have a new lease on life. Dr. Fox represents a rare breed of care and has the skill, knowledge and ability to convey it to his patient. I now face the future with confidence. I am 77 yrs old and can easily state that this Dr. is the perfect mix of old time patient care & knowledge of the latest advancements. Thank You ! Dr. Fox

I was in the Frye Regional Medical Center with heart failure. Dr Fox was going to discharge me, I still feeling all that great so I asked for a second opinion. I was transferred to Duke University Hospital, when I arrived at Duke University my blood results showed that I had a heart attack upon arriving from Frye Regional Medical Center. Dr Fox stating in his discharged reports that nothing was wrong with me before I was transferred to Duke University Hospital. I don't think that I got the care.
