I had an emergency related to my vision, which turned out to be a retinal tear. I contacted the Sequoia Eye Group at 8pm on a Thursday evening via their direct message feature, and Dr. Ngai responded immediately. He instructed me to call the office first thing in the morning. The next morning before I called them, they called me. Dr. Caul said she would fit me into their schedule and she saw me at 9:30am that Friday morning. After the exam she referred me to a specialist at PAMF, suspecting I needed laser surgery for the tear. She texted the doctor at PAMF, gave me his number and told me to call Dr. Rahimy to schedule an appointment asap. She would also contact his office. I called Dr. Rahimy as soon as I got home and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. On Monday morning I received a call from Dr. Rahimy's office advising me to come in asap because they thought the retinal tear was acute and it needed immediate attention.
