Dr. Li-Ching Chen, MD

Not sure how he become a doctor but he is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced in my 30 years of life. I had the worst birthing experience with him that it makes me not want to have another hospital birth with future children.

Dr. Chen is a wonderful doctor. During my first office visit with him, I remarked that it was refreshing to see an Asian woman depicted in the pregnancy poster, as most of the ones I've seen featured Caucasian women usually with blonde hair. He looked at me almost deadpan and said, "Duh!" I couldn't stop laughing! Dr. Chen has always provided exemplary medical care and has always been very positive, friendly, highly respectful, and patient with me. This was no easy feat during my pre- and post-menopausal years. It didn't help that I concurrently lived with excruciating chronic knee pain in both my knees from severe osteoarthritis over the course of 7 years - until I got TKR surgeries done on both knees.

Dr. Chen is an outstanding professional. He is very knowledgeable and experience. He is confident, humane, forthright, and respectful. Dr. Chen is the best in his practice. He has the most magical, blessing healing hands. Dr. Chen removed nine tumors from my uterus. His extraordinary talent and dedication is admirable. My uterus is clean and fertile. During my hospital stay, he made sure that I was well. Dr. Chen saves the organ that gives life, and helps with delivering life into the world.

I've been a patient of Dr Chen for 9 years. I first went to him as a scared young lady. 9 years later with 3 pregnancies and 2 live births I wouldn't trust anyone else. I had complications with my pregnancies and he still came to the hospital on his day off to be my dr. If you can get past the thick accent and corny jokes he's been everything I needed in an obgyn.

Horrible doctor, not at all helpful, he doesn't comprehend English whatsoever and most detrimental of all, he makes no effort to listen. His goal is to send you through evert type of female testing (mammograms, etc) to rack up multiple visits. This man should have his license revoked. At the end of my visit, he said go do all of this testing, and I'll try to help you. that was it for me. BTW when shoving some contraption up my vagina, he was quite rough, I literally yelled.

Yes he talks fast & seem like he's rushing you but it is no indication that he doesn't care. In fact, the 1st time I came in for a pap, I was young & scared. To help me take my mind off the business he had to do, he talked to me about chicken and crunchy chicken. I remember I thought it was weird and before I knew it, he was done. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. 8yrs later, I'm due for a myomectomy & he said he will do everything he can to save my uterus bcuz he wants me to have a baby.

I felt rushed and pushed into agreeing with his terms. When I tried to explain I was there due to my uncontrollable bowel movements (which is related to my endometriosis) he told me it's not that spread my legs open and forced his way into checking my vagina. I tried to explain that I was a Virgin and the utensil he was using was to big. He told me that it was all me and I needed to relax or he can just get a woman dr. to do it. He also gave my wife a dirty look and called her my friend.
