CHECK INSURANCE COVERAGE! This place is a SCAM!
Myself and my wife went in for an annual physical, covered by insurance, and were very very clear to doctor Aghdam and the office staff that we only wanted checked what was covered by insurance. This was mentioned multiple times as I was asking about testosterone levels and getting that number checked but was informed that would be an additional charge. Once it was mentioned that it would be an additional charge I clearly asked for that lab to be removed as I ONLY wanted what would be covered by insurance. 1 month later I receive a bill in the mail for blood work for myself and my wife, we call the office and are essentially told there's nothing they can do and we should have asked yet again as we were checking out so we could manually call our insurance provider to assure no additional charges would be made, ohh and also the testosterone lab was still submitted and I am responsible for payment even though it was specifically requested to not be tested. ZERO customer service, dont go!

Covid diagnosis 3 weeks ago
What went well: Obtained a telemedicine visit quickly because am an existing patient and saw medicine advertised for Covid. What did not go well: 1. Dr. Aghdam told me to take garlic and lemon, that's it no medicine. 2. I was charged the full amount for a comprehensive office visit when it was a 15 min telemedicine call.

Highly recommend!
Very thorough, knowledgeable about research, medications and supplements. She goes above and beyond to find the underlying cause of disease and not just treat the symptoms. After years of pain and illness and hundreds of doctors appointments, tests, scans and blood work, I feel like I finally found a Dr who wants to help me get to the root cause.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! Dr. Aghdam does not know how to deal with breastfeeding moms and offered no solutions to the problems I came in with. I left with more questions than answers as the medication she prescribed me was not safe for breastfeeding moms. I called her office after my appt to ask a follow up question and she became very defensive saying "I did not rush you" and "why are you confused?". She is extremely unprofessional and rude at times, and does not seem to care about your issues.

I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Aghdam. It was my first time to see her and she spent a lot of time explaining to me what she believes the problems are and then followed through with labs . I was very impressed with her enthusiasm, knowledge and information she shared with me.

I have been a patient for many many years. I respect Dr Aghdam’s clinical knowledge as well as her educational style. She is an intelligent and compassionate woman who cares greatly about her patients and their outcomes. Balancing Rx with natural remedies and proper nutrition has made all the difference in how I view medical care. It’s a lifestyle. Not all cures come in a pill. It takes a creative thinker who is an expert in their field to seek the best care and therapy for the benefit of their patients. This is Lida Aghdam, MD

Dr. Aghdam truly cares about her patients. Her lab work orders are thorough and she looks for small issues before they become big issues. Her mix of traditional MD with integrative medicine makes her an excellent preventive care doctor. I highly recommend her, especially for healthy people trying to stay healthy in a country where the food supply continues to work against you.

I go in for a women’s wellness check because I’m in need of birth control and a PCP. NOPE! After waiting for 45 minutes, and this is after driving back and forth between the Walmart in Plano to the IKEA because her office doesn’t need ooo up on Google maps AND her main number was closed, she tells me she won’t put me on birth control at all because the extra estrogen will “fatten [me] up like a cow.” She wanted me to lose all the weight I gained in college, which is a good 50 lbs due to the umbrella issues of college in general, in the span of two months. Look internet, I know I’m overweight and I’m already taking steps to change my eating habits. She did not discuss estrogen-free alternatives at all with me and made me feel horrible about myself. A doctor shouldn’t make a patient leave their clinic crying. Would not recommend at all.

NOPE! I will NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to her office. I asked her to explain why she wanted to me to take certain medication and she just said, because you need it! I wasn’t happy with her trying to have me take more medication. She said I have high blood pressure, but her sister who checks patients in couldn’t get the machine to work correctly. Her sister asked me if I knew what my numbers usually are. Lida, b/c she didn’t treat me like a doctor...sent me a letter saying she can’t serve me anymore!

I went in for a women's well check that is covered 100% by insurance. I was called about a week later and told I had to come in to go over the results. I asked before if this was still part of the well check, I was told yes. I went in and basically what Dr. Aghdam told me could have easily been discussed with a very short phone conversation but she made me come in so they could bill me for an office visit that was not covered by my insurance. I refused to pay so my bill was sent to collection

I called and called to speak with the office to confirm that they took my insurance. She was on a list of in network providers I received from my insurance company. Based on experience I wanted to confirm with them. The lady that finally answered my fifth or sixth call told me they don't have time to call and verify and that it was my responsibility. She told me that she didn't think they would be good for me. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL
