Made a Scary Surgery Amazing
Dr Guomnerova and her team operated on me 8 years ago when I was in my late teens. Every appointment I had with her she made me feel incredible comfortable. The surgery was successful and cured my decade of migraines. As an older teen in a pediatric office she made me feel very comfortable and treated me like and adult. I can’t recommend Doc Guomnerova more, especially if you have a teen needing neurosurgery.

Former patient from Boston Children’s hospital
Dr. Goumnova is the absolute best neurosurgeon. I worked with her for many years as a patient from new born until about 20ish when she did my last shunt revision. One of the best doctors a patient or family could ask to have on their case. She always had a way to make me feel at ease during the worst time of my life when I’d have to go in for a “tune up”. I would 10/10 recommend. I can not thank her enough for her outstanding bedside manner and overall care she provided as my neurosurgeon.

Dr. Goumnerova is not only the best pediatric neurosurgeon, she was amazing before, during and after my son's surgery for a brain tumor. Kept us continually updated, well informed, she is extremely knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and an amazing person. We highly recommend her ??.

I have a brain cavernoma on my brain stem and at 12 I had a hemmorage. The cavernoma is in an inoperable spot and This wonderful woman saved my life. She Performed an extremely difficult surgery on me with 50/50 chance of paralization. I’m happy to report the surgery went amazingly well and I am now 33 years old without deficits. I am so very grateful for her and all the loving staff at Boston children’s hospital and always will be. Thank you Lillian.

Arrogant and not a decent person. As a surgeon she’s fine-as long as things go well. When things don’t go as planned, she can become cruel, dismissive, and deceptive, and will do anything to save her skin. If things go wrong she won’t necessarily put your child’s well being first. She is known to badmouth surgeons at other institutions, but there are better options out there for your child, including at BCH. Please be careful with this choice-don’t be fooled by her stature or her bluster.
