Dr Schapiro did not listen to my concerns, did not answer my direct questions, mislead me about the specifics of the procedure, and then subjected me to completely unacceptable levels of torturous pain. She also handles a speculum in the most sloppy and careless way I have ever experienced. I have never experienced so much pain at an OBGYN office.

I was dismissed as a patient today due to a change in insurance. I turned 65 in November, at which point you are covered by Medicare...like it or not. I have a reliable secondary insurance. IdealGynecolgy will not continue as my provider, basically due to my age! They offer self-pay, however, as a retired teacher, I cannot afford that. If you are approaching 65, do NOT choose Ideal Gynecology as your provider. They will not be loyal to you as a patient, even though they were good providers before my Medicare birthday.

If you are like me..young enough to need a gynecologist and too old to need an obstetrician... Ideal Gynecology is the perfect doctor for you! A very professional and personable front desk receptionist to greet you, an attentive medical assistant to get you ready for your appointment, and a very experienced, thorough, engaged doctor with state of the art technology to make your appointment as smooth as possible. Dr. Lillian Schapiro is not only my doctor, but also the new doctor for my teenager.

I found Dr. Schapiro to be somewhat dismissive of my concerns. I do not not feel as though she fully listened to and that she cared about what I was saying. I feel like I was told what was best for me, despite me expressing a desire for selecting (or at least discussing) a different option. She was not very gentle either. Overall, her office is very nice, clean and comfortable. Her staff is sweet. I just don't think her nonchalant style met my needs.

I love her!! I trust her!! She delivered my handsome son who is now almost 20! Dr Lillian Shapiro also has done several in office procedures on me from all the issues women go through!!! As soon as my new insurance kicks in which will be awesome, ,,,,,I'm going to drive back into Atlanta to have care from the best!!! She has beautiful bedside manners and genuinely listens and cares about how you are feeling!!!! My daughter is almost 17 and she will love,this specialist too! You ROCK!

Dr Schapiro is truly amazing!!! She is the absolute best at what she does! Her passion shows in her care. She naturally makes you feel completely comfortable in the office. The office is wonderful and the staff is just as amazing as she is! An all around great experience. Thank you Ideal Gynecology!
