Empathetic and knowledgable
I needed to bring my sister to a new Primary Care Physician and Dr. Xu was able to see her right away which was important because we had time constraints. Dr. Xu was very caring and wanted to know all details of my sister's health history and was crucial to the care my sister needed.

Flustered, uncaring - find another doctor
First of all, step into the office and you'll see the lack of technology & organization. This is probably why it takes multiple calls to reach someone, even during open hours. When you DO get someone on the phone, they are dismissive and there's no sense of patient care nor empathy. If you DO manage to book an appointment, don't be surprised if the wait-time is more than 45-mintes. As for your session with the Doctor - again, there's no human touch. The goal is obviously getting to the next patient/task - not hearing you out, as a patient/human being. My relative went to see her as well - she never followed-up with bloodwork results, which was terrible because there were red flags that we should have looked-into further, but wasn't aware of (until over a year later!) There are tons of better doctors (and more caring ones) in the area - do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else.

No follow up on my lab results after my annual physical exam. I came to Dr. Xu this year because I just moved into the area and it's too far away from my prior doctor. Called the office on my lab report and it's been couple of wks and still received no response.

Dr. Xu is the best!! She is very thorough and found the answer to my vertigo problem and sent me to the right Dr. to fix it (I had been to several other doctors, to no avail). She also found my husband's kidney problem and set him on the right track. (He now has a transplant (for 4 years) and is doing great) She spends as much time as you need and never rushes you. I love her and hope she never leaves the area. I don't know what I would do. I have ben seeing her for around 20 years.
