Dr. Linda Prieto, MD

While she seemed to know what she was talking about, the manner in which she educates patients and family members is condescending. When my family member and I were explaining an ongoing health situation she was dismissive to the fact it should’ve been caught multiple times. She was badmouthing where the nurse had placed my family member’s IV and also that she had shoes on in the stretcher. My family member was barely able to get into the bed much less worry about shoes being on. Overall I wish her bedside manner was more kind and willing to listen.

One of the worse doctors I have met. I worked in healthcare and I had never experience someone with such a lack of compassion. She seems to be in a rush, she does not listen to the patients or family. She discharged a family member that was not stable at all and had to be readmitted in less than 5 hours to another hospital. She is careless and does not have basic clinical skills.

I work closely with Dr. Prieto and she is a really excellent practitioner. She is tough when she needs to be and sensitive when she needs to be. If you are sick, you want her at the bedside taking care of you or your loved one. When the nurses think a Dr. is excellent, patients should fee comforted. I would imagine the bad reviews are from patients whom didn't get their way from attempting to dictate their own orders to the DR. She will always do the very best thing for her patients.

I would not put any family on her hands.
