What stood out for me is that Dr Yan is a very good doctor, but she has a quota to make for each patient that day and it seems that she is ready to move on to her next patient without having any more time for her existing patient I have a problem with that !!

The only thing was they were extremely busy and I had to wait an additional 35 to 40 minutes past my appt. Time. Other than that the staff were extremely professional and helpful.

Dr Yan and the entire staff have always made me feel welcome and more importantly, safe. She and the crew have a wonderful way of interacting with patients in what could be some very trying times.

I have been seeing Dr. Yan for years. She is personable and very knowledgeable. She's always pleasant. And the wait time is always short. I would highly recommend her.

My first interaction with Dr. Yan, was doing my short time in the hospital she was very brief and impersonal. During my office visit I asked her about a prescription that I received from a doctor in the hospital and asked if she could refill it she said she didn’t know who gave it to me and refused to refill it, made no attempt to investigate who gave me the prescription and how I can get it refilled. Also during my visit I had to inquire with her about my stress test and sonogram and she was very short with me, her attitude was very poor and she seem like she didn’t wanna be bothered or she was very annoyed that I had questions, she didn’t even let me know that she was done during the visit I had to ask her if we were done and she said yes. I will not recommend anyone to go see her and I refuse to go back to her and I set up another appointment with another cardiologist..... immediately!!!!

In my experience, she was dismissive, as if she didn’t want me to talk at all unless she asked me a question.

Doctor Yan seemed annoyed when I asked her to explain my original test results. She refused to go into any detail. She simply ordered new tests and, after three weeks of waiting and calling, she has not shared the results of those tests. I have been told that someone will call me with results for three weeks... no one has called. I do not recommend this medical office.

She is very professional in the bedside manner. I will refer to family and friends .

Dr. Yan is kind and considerate. She has excellent bedside manners. She’s concerned about the whole person - mind, body, spirit - not just the heart. There is no long wait time even if you are late.

D. Yan is the best Doctor I could ever have hoped for in the treatment of my High Blood Pressure and Palpitation of the Heart which I have suffered for almost two decades. Dr. Yan is a very good listener and a consummate professional. Her disposition and comportment show that she cares for her patients. I have obtained maximum relief from my ailments and great hope for what the future holds for the prognosis, as a result of the battery of test and the medications, she gave. I will recommend her.

After spending thousands on tests, Ms. Yan could not even spend a couple minutes to discuss what was abnormal about the tests that made her recommend a cath procedure. She literally was in and out of the room in under a minute. She has terrible patient communication skills. I had to call back into the office to ask questions to determine if my ejection volume was normal and concluded either she ordered the cath out of practicing defensive medicine or for profit purposes.

Dr. Yan is consistently professional, extremely knowledgeable, and always take as much time as needed to discuss my office visit results in a thorough and non-condescending manor.
