Dr. Linette Melcher, MD

Dr Melcher is a wonderful doctor when you meet her, but getting test results back from her is virtually impossible! I waited 3 months to get an appointment with her and another month to get in to see her. Her receptionist Donna is a Rude most Unpleasant and Unprofessional person you will ever meet. She seems to be the gate keeper for Dr Melcher on getting appointments or call backs for follow up appointments. She will not answer the phone or return messages left on the phone. I have been waiting 3 weeks for test results for an EEG only to be told by Donna for three weeks the printer has been broken so can’t print the results. I finally got irate and said is the Dr not capable of reading them on the computer. To my surprise after making that phone call to Donna and said I was changing doctors I got an appointment that same afternoon. Again 3 weeks after the test!! Dr Melcher is a nice doctor but definitely needs a new receptionist! Get rid of Donna!,

Best Neurologist in Texas! I’m 63 and suffer with migraines. Extremely very caring, friendly, professional and most awesome thorough exam ever! Highly highly recommend Dr. Linette Melcher!! And Donna that works there is very polite and professional. Nice clean office too. A+++++++++++ Galore!

Dr. Melcher is never in a hurry. She listens. She is open to discussion about various procedures. Donna, her office staff, is helpful, friendly and listens to concerns about dealing with pharmacies, and medication patient programs.

This doctor does not need new patients so it would seem. My doctor sent a referral but I never received a phone call. If this doctor is not taking on new patients then just day so! I have moved on but any body considering this doctor should be cautious and review your options.

I was a patient and had never needed her, just office visits. I was out of town recently and experienced severe neuropathy pain. I called her for the first time ever for help with the pain and never got a call back form her!

I’ve been going to Dr. Linette Melcher since 2005 and I think she’s one of the finest, most caring doctors I’ve seen in my 64 years...and I’ve seen a lot!! I highly recommend her.

Dr. Melcher is very professional and has a wonderful, caring demeanor. Another pro is that she asks lots of questions to solve the mystery of your pain,if that's why you are there and she will likewise answer as many questions as you have! HOWEVER:Her office staff is VERY lacking in compassion, professionalism, & organization. They have lost papers, failed to call me back, and been snippy and short with me while I have put out effort to be very sweet in attempts to get the help I need.
