Amazing Doctor
Was seen right away. Very knowledgeable and quite pleasant. She is very thorough with her exams and is able to diagnose health issues right away. Am very blessed to have found her through a friend’s refferal.

Unethical
Dr. Abrams randomly assigned herself as our college student’s primary doctor after she saw her once for an appointment. This was never discussed with our child, but because it’s almost impossible to see your regular doctor at NSUHS more than once a year, it didn’t really matter much. Dr. Abrams seemed to take an interest in our child. She told our that she would be very willing to prescribe their medications for them while they were at college out of state. Our child had been scheduled to see Dr. Abrams for their annual prior to returning to school in August. At the last minute Dr. Abrams cancelled the appointment so my child wound up seeing a random doctor. When our child contacted Dr. Abrams for refills while back at school, she indicated that because child hadn’t seen HER for the physical she cancelled, she could no longer be her doctor or prescribe her meds, leaving us to scramble in finding another doctor before the meds ran out. Dr. Abrams is crazy and unethical.

Terrible. Rather than actually calling her patient after receiving abnormal blood results from a routine physical, Dr Abrams instead wrote bizarre, irrelevant and semi-hysterical questions to the patient on NorthShore connect with no explanation. When patient called seeking information about the blood work results, Dr Abrams did not bother to return call or provide any information or next steps. Switch doctors immediately if you want basic, competent care.

I've only had really good experiences with Dr. Abrams. I had to switch from my PCP when he retired and find a new PCP. It was hard picking someone out from a computer picture and description. But I went with Dr. Abrams. She is always very prompt answering my emails. And has been helpful with my chronic pain issues. When she doesn't know what the problem is - she refers me to a specialist.

Uncaring and cruel. Not helpful and would not work with a specialist I was seeing for medication. She ignored his phone calls. The best decision I made was to find another primary care doctor. This woman should not be allowed to practice medicine.

Dr. Abrams was the on call doctor.I would never see her as a patient or recommend her. She was rude, abrasive and condescending. I called her after developing a rash while suffering with pneumonia and being on antibiotics. She expressed no care or concern, did not make any effort to educate or be helpful during a difficult situation. After hanging up with her I read three reviews that confirmed other patients felt that they were treated the same way. She should not be allowed on call ever.

I had a walk-in apt at my PCP's office, but saw his affiliate Dr. Abrams. She negligently misdiagnosed my condition. She completely missed clear symptoms of a common antidepressant and dismissed my concerns over the acute condition. Had I not figured out the mistake 30 hours later, the pharmacist thinks I could have had a seizure. I have called and messaged Dr. Abrams office but she will not apologize for her mistake and is making me consider switching practices. I don't trust her judgement.
