Dr. Allen is Wonderful; MSKK is Horrible
Dr. Allen is a wonderful, caring surgeon. Unfortunately she is now at MSKK and after 3 months of trying to get a follow up appt with my surgeon, I am still waiting for a call back from MSKK bureaucracy. If you want to be treated like a human being and not just as a number, go elsewhere.

I am so thankful a friend and breast cancer survivor recommended Dr. Allen. She is so kind and compassionate and explained every detail about my breast cancer situation in a way that helped me feel very informed about my surgery and the treatment options (based on my pathology) that would follow surgery. Not only is Dr. Allen the director of the Capital Health Breast Center, her team is also very caring and friendly. I will be forever grateful that Dr. Allen is my doctor.

I saw Dr. Allen after my breast biopsy. She was wonderful with guiding me through my breast cancer diagnosis. She explained everything, sometimes having to repeat it for me over and over so I would understand. She did my surgery and my followup. She is the most caring and understanding Dr. I have ever met.

Dr. Allen literally saved my life. She is very knowledgeable, intelligent and a very skilled surgeon. She is down to earth, very personable, respectful and takes time to listen to my concerns and answers all of them completely in simple terms. She has an excellent bedside manner. Her office staff and nurses are very efficient, friendly and respectful. I couldn't ask for a better doctor and staff. I highly recommend this doctor and her group.

I was devastated to learn of my cancer diagnosis, but Dr. Allen took the time to sit down and explain everything to me thoroughly. She gave me all the options, and continually provided reassurance. I later had surgery with Dr. Allen and am very proud to say that I am now cancer free. She is a miracle worker, and I am lucky to have such a wonderful, kind, and competent surgeon.
