Uncaring, Disinterested Doctor
Careless, thoughtless and rehearsed approach to patient care. She had zero interest in our child or his well-being, and rushed through the 15 minutes she gave us. We traveled for an immunological consult, but she seemed to lack the knowledge, empathy, and most importantly the interest in providing personal care. She wouldn't move past simplistic, shallow issues in order to address the serious concerns over our son's immune system which is in IGG overdrive. She didn't listen, didn't care, and her comments were limited to condescending, canned, pandering answers. She refused to even look at the paperwork we brought from Johns Hopkins regarding his CAP-RAST scores, bloodwork, etc. that would have helped her better understand our son's issues. She simply had no interest. The appointment was so bad it was laughable. Not sure why she's in clinical practice with the total absence of analytical interest in her patients' health.

Dr. Bartnikas is extremely knowledgeable about food allergies, avoiding exposure and treating anaphylaxis. We have been seeing her for five years and she has always been patient, taken the time to answer our questions and checked in with us by phone between appointments. I highly recommend her.
