Dr. Lisa Dishongh, MD

I waited 1 1/2 hours and every 15 min I asked for an update of when I was to be seen. I was told each time that I was next or i was going to be seen in 15 minutes. Finally, when I was the only patient left in the waiting room I was told that a nurse would speak to me. The nurse said there were emergencies. When I asked why no one told me sooner, I was met with annoyance that I asked. I left without ever seeing the doctor and made an appt with a different practice. No respect for patients time and I felt they didn't care!

Dr. Dishongh has been my obgyn close to 30 years. Shes delivered one of my kids, she missed one of them only because she was also delivering her child, lol Shes knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Close to 30 yrs, speaks volume. Yes I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Dishongh is an amazing doctor very caring and she is always up for any question you might have.

Knowledgeable, caring, and engaging staff !!! Dr. Dishong is the best !!! Positive, flexible and easy going. Visits are always relaxed and efficient.

She is great but the office is horrible. I just had an early miscarriage yesterday and they haven’t even called to tell me how my results from three days ago were or to warn me about it. They always keep me waiting over 2 hours and they are delayed in calling back. Nurse is very rude as well and insensitive but the dr is amazing too bad she works in that horrible office.

Dr. Dishongh is a fantastic physician. She’s been my OBGYN for 26 years and although I moved more than an hour away 15 years ago, I would travel any distance to see her. Very patient, compassionate and never makes me feel rushed. She listens to every word - every time. She’s awesome.

It's a mixed review because I really like Dr. Dishong, HOWEVER her support staff leads a lot to be desired. It took several emails and phone messages to get her assistant to help me or even return a call or email which she never did. Fortunately for me Dr. Dishong's nurse was on vacation this week and a wonderful nurse named Jen helped me. Made all of the difference in the world in terms of communication of some sort I honestly thought the only way to get through to them was to walk in.

Dr. Dishongh is great. However, it is difficult to reach the nurse regarding test results sometimes.
