Dr. Lisa Drage, MD

Very kind, knowledgeable, empathetic and sympathetic doctor. I’ve seen her multiple times and she is consistently this way. I highly recommend her.

If I could give no stars, I would. Out of all the doctors I seen at Mayo Clinic, she was the only one I regretted wasting my time and money on. She spent as minimal time with me as possible. Never wanted to know anything of my past. Her direct comment to me was, l”I can only evaluate now”. She cared nothing about my history with skin issues. My skin issues have been of 30+ years , and her response was “Covid” was making me have skin problems. I do not recommend her to anyone and actually shocked Mayo Clinic had a doctor like this.

Dr. Drage was condescending, and didn’t listen to me or properly review my symptoms. I saw many specialists (both locally and while at the Mayo Clinic) who disagreed with the opinion she gave me during her extremely brief exam, so I was ultimately given the correct diagnosis, care, and treatment I need, in spite of her. I highly suggest avoiding Dr. Drage. My experience with her was terrible, and if she had been the only doctor I’d seen, I wouldn’t have gotten the answers or medication I needed.

I had an unpleasant encounter with her. She was not professional and I could not build in confidence in her decision making. She did not show any sign of patient advocacy and ownership. Based on my experience, I do not think she is a knowledgeable and a trustworthy physician. There are lots of things to improve. No, I do not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Drage spent a generous amount of time with me, was a patient listener, gave me a very thorough examination, and was equally friendly and professional. She paid attention to my concerns, took care to explain her findings, and provided me with resources that would address my skin issues.

She had already decided upon a diagnosis when entering the Mayo examination room, asked no questions, and falsely documented the Patient Care post-consultation form, misquoting my comments and citing incorrect time frames, facts and events. She refused to read clinic treatment notes from my previous healthcare providers including a respected specialist, as well as her collegues notes that conflicted with hers

Did not seem to have much care or patience with me. When asked questions she would dismiss them without taking time to explain anything.
