Dr. Lisa Kotler, MD

I was under Lisa Kotlers supervision for much of my adolescence, it took around 4 years for her to get my diagnosis correct. With atleast monthly appointments. There were approximately 4 medication changes made in this time, all while I’ve been charged $250 each 30 minute session where I was asked a few questions. During her “care” my mental health became worse. And it wasn’t until I ended up in the hospital that I was correctly diagnosed with bipolar disorder by the hospital staff. When the incident happened Kotler called in one time to check in on my health after hearing about my suicide attempt and had not followed up since, it has been 3 years. After going through recovery with other medical professionals, looking back, Kotler is an absolute disgrace for medicine at large. The American education system should not have managed to let such a careless, unsympathetic, selfish individual, who clearly only cares about status and money, have responsibility for people’s health. Run.
