RUSHED RUSHED RUSHED
Been seeing her for 2 or 3 years now. Wasn't really comfortable but didn’t want to judge. Had 2 intra ocular implants done, while having the procedure I asked for more sedation because I was getting nervous and she told the anathesiologist NO she will be done in 20 minutes . SHE HAD NO RIGHT TO DO THAT WHEN I WAS FULLY COHERENT. That made the rest of the procedure unbearable for me mentally. After the follow up visits I couldn’t handle the RUDE front office staff, all about the money for them no customer service no welcoming nothing just give me your insurance card and make your copayment NOW we don’t bill people. After several back and forth issues with my copay that was only $25 they demanded $30, that was the final straw with the front office staff. So I went to see LISA LANE, Rey rushed, uncaring, not willing to answer my questions but with a we’ll see on the next visit. This person is heartless as they come. Arizona Eye Consultants on Speedway! This is my opinion and facts !

Rude and condescendng
Dr. Lane is gruff and dismissive. Will not answer questions and acts as if in a rush to get to the next patient. Arizona Eye Consultants treats patients like cattle. They do say say up front to expect to be there for 2 hours, then you're lucky if the doctor spends more than five minutes with you.

extremely rude, doesn't listen to patient
Never have I ever had a doctor roll their eyes at me, as I tried to succinctly explained a lifetime of eye issues. Interrupted, and said it was all too confusing, and what exactly was my issue that day. Then had nothing to offer. Didn't request medical history before the appointment, and didn't care to listen to it from me. I think she spent about 3 minutes total in the room with me. I don't trust her, don't see the reason for a second appointment for a visual field test, which has always been a standard at time of appointment, EVEN in many optometrist's office. All patients were getting that, 3 patients coming out after me (as I waited for the forgotten prescription), each being told to return for a visual field test. Nothing was listened to, and nothing explained, even to merely commiserate as my eyesight deteriorates. I was shocked that my low key, friendly approach to this new office was met with such rudeness

I definitely recommend Dr. Lisa Lane. She recently performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. I found her to be outstanding as both a surgeon and doctor. She is caring and interested in what was best for me NOT in selling expensive lenses. I found her forthcoming, frank and patient. I plan to continue seeing her as my primary ophthalmologist. Thank you, Dr. Lane, for being a wonderful caregiver.

The office is always very busy, so sometimes you wait. Dr Lisa Lane is the Best. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain procedures. I had double Cataract surgeries & absolutely no pain or problems. Vision is crystal clear with brighter colors. Like the eyes of a Child.

Check-in and pre-exam went well. Escorted to one of Dr. Lanes exam rooms, and told " Dr Lne will be with you shortl." 45 minutes later-still no Dr Lane. Contacted a Technician, and told her I was taking my records to the front check-out desk and had not seen the doctor at all. Spoke with the manager and although she was polite didn't see too concerned about the fact that I'd still not seen the doctor. Here's a thought, When a technician shows you to an exam room, there should be periodic checks to be sure things are "all right," and let the patient know if there a delay. In my case, the 45 minutes, I could have had a stroke or heart attack and nobody would have known until the doctor showed up. Not a happy thought.

If I could give zero stars here, I would. This woman never made I contact with me. She was so self-absorbed and self important, she only spoke to her assistant. The wait was very long and the exam was cursory at best. I had discomfort in my eyes which she called "dry eyes". I know the symptoms of dry eyes and I was in true pain. After trying all of her treatment and ideas, I finally went and got a second opinion, where the doctor found a chronic infection of my eyelids that extended to cornea. I firmly believe that if she spent a little bit more time with me, she would have found this out too.

Had cataract surgery by Dr. Lane and was very disappointed. She corrected my vision for distance and it was a total failure. Standing 30 feet from a tree, I can't see individual leaves, just a green blur. She said I probably healed funny. Maybe so, but the next day after surgery when the patch came off it was blurry and hasn't improved one iota after more than a month later. How much "healing" could have occurred after one day? She said it's correctable with lenses so just make the best of it.

Made an afternoon appointment. Her office called asked to change my 1:00 to a 10:00 slot, when I arrived at HER requested time 10:00, I was told she was running late and my wait to see her would be one hour plus. I left.
