Life changing care
Absolutely fabulous provider that really listens and cares. She takes the time to explain and do things right, and that's hard to find these days. I transferred to her after months of suffering from recurrent corneal erosion syndrome, since my prior ophthalmologist seemed disinterested in my case. I finally feel like someone is taking me seriously, and my condition is markedly improved.

Dr. Nijm is the best eye doctor you will ever go to. I came to see her because I was diagnosed with cataracts. Her office staff is kind, efficient and made everything easy on me. Dr. Nijm took her time, gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had and most importantly treated me like a person, NOT a number. And here is the best part- I cannot believe how well I am seeing after cataract surgery- no glasses! I haven't seen this well since I was a kid! I am so excited to have found this amazing doctor. I highly recommend her.

69 year old male, cataracts in both eyes. Initially, I went to what can best be described as a "big box" provider. Terrible experience. Shuttled around, impersonal, eager to get you thru the system and bill you for every little thing. Awful. Found Dr Nijm, forget how, but best experience I have ever had with a doctor. She was empathetic, answered my questions, explained the options, prescribed treatment to correct dry eyes, was generally punctual, went above and beyond to walk me through the process and explained what to expect, I had Lasik in one eye a few years ago and she told me flat out what to expect. First surgery on Lasik eye went well, experienced exactly what she said would happen. We got through that and vision is now 20/20, crystal clear. Second eye is different prescription so no glasses She arranged for contacts so I knew in advance what my vision would be like. Second surgery went very well, Happy, happy camper! Great doctor, cannot recommend her enough. Thank you! :-)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lisa. I was referred to her for a problem that had been ongoing since November of 2018. 7 months,4 doctors and a whole bunch of discomfort later, I was referred to this awesome doctor. I was frustrated at my first appointment and not feeling very hopeful about my situation. She listened intently, took copious notes and gave me a good assessment of where I was at and where she thought she could take me with treatment. Finally!! She advocated for me to receive a prescription that has improved my daily living, when my insurance company was definitely saying no. She is gentle, a great listener, and so very good at her job. I feel incredibly lucky to have been sent to her. I trust her instincts with my care and am so glad she’s a part of my medical team. Gada at the front desk is kind and funny, reminds me to get referrals and helps me get appointments with my busy schedule.

From the first time I walked into Dr. Nijm's office I had all the confidence in the world with her knowledge and skills with my surgery. Dr. Nijm was recommended to me by Dr. Amy Vanderbrook and how fortunate I was. Surgery was perfect, my follow up was perfect and now I can see 20-20 and I'm going to be 79 years old.

She performed two cataract surgeries on me, the first one went so well I decided to follow up and have the other eye taken care of. Dr. Nijm is extremely caring and is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. The follow up care was great and she answered all questions and concerns I had and I'm sure her expertise is why there were no complications.

Several months ago Dr. Nijm did surgery on both of my cataracts. She is a dedicated and exceptional surgeon. Both surgeries went better then I expected. Her concern and commitment to patient care is above and beyond. She is willing to spend as much time as needed, never rushing you and answers all your questions. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a compassionate Ophthalmologist.

I cannot recommend Dr. L Nijm and staff enough. Her warm smile puts you at ease and office visits feel more like family visits. She is also brilliant and knows her stuff. The office manager is extremely friendly and above all very professional and helpful. She makes it very easy to book an appointment and accommodate my busy work schedule. I’m hesitant to even write a review because I selfishly want to keep this eye clinic a secret so I can always easily book an appointment, but I’m feeling ge

The office staff is fantastic! They are knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. The doctor is wonderful; she takes her time and addresses every concern. I never feel rushed, and I always feel that she sincerely cares about taking the best care of me. I've brought my daughter to her as well, and she was so nice, patient and gentle with her that my daughter hugged her at the end of the exam. All around a great experience, and I highly recommend her to everyone I know.

The office assistant at this office is incredibly rude and disrespectful to the patients. I will never return back to an office where the secretary who is in charge of my personal information is so blantanly inconsiderate and plainly rude. I highly do not recommend this office! Save yourself a lot of aggravation and find another doctor.

The receptionist is very unfriendly! This does not help to build patient/doctor trust. I personally do not see the purpose in being unfriendly to the patience but if you choose to see this doctor, fully anticipate to be verbally manhandled by the receptionist.

Dr. Nijm has an office assistant who is incredibly rude and disrespectful to the patience. Dr. Nijm herself is a decent doctor, you just have to first get through getting thoroughly abused by her cranky office assistant.

Upon arriving at Dr. Nijm's office I was greeted by a very unfriendly and older office assistant who's English was poor, at best. I filled out the office paperwork and returned it to the office assistant. With literally no cause the office assistant became very aggressive and nasty towards me because I had not properly filled out the paperwork. When I asked her what I did wrong she became even more nasty towards me and told me to not give her attitude. What?? I do not recommend this office!
