Dr. Lisa Spiguel, MD

Dr.Spiguel is a caring, compassionate and excellentbreast cancer surgeon.From the moment I met her I knew I was in good hands.On my first appointment she explained my breast cancer and treatment recommendationlike an educator. I left feeling optimistic and confident that she and the rest of the medical team would take good care of me.I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Spiguel is a top-notch doctor as well as caring and a perfectionist. She takes time with your patients and doesn't rush through things. She listens and has excellent knowledge in her profession and she appears to have the passion of an artist, who loves to paint. Let's face it, her patients have cancer, not a hang nail. Cancer is scary yet, Dr. Spiguel advises and comforts her patients (along with spouse and family members) which can be time-consuming yet she does it with grace. Dr. Spiguel definitely has the skills to get the job done and doesn't rush through (appointments nor surgeries) but wants the outcome to be the best to save your life and to improve your quality of life, including cosmetically. I would wait 8 hours in the waiting room for Dr. Spiguel as she doctors and ministers to the sick. I thank the Lord for Dr. Spiguel. Dr. Spiguel you will always be in our prayers. Thank you!

Unfortunately this rating is not directly related to Dr Spiguel, but to her staff. I drove over two hours arriving at facility at 2:30 for a 3:00 appointment. I wasn't brought back to a room until 4:00. I waited another 45 minutes and no doctor. finally someone in the hall checked and told me it could be another 30-40 minutes before I would see the doctor. No staff during this process told me there was a delay in appointments. I was told that Pam should have informed me of delays of appointments (they're common.) And she should have called for appointment information. I let them know that I had had three appointments and Pam has never called me. I walked out. It is unfortunate that this is how the patients are treated and the lack of communication from the staff. Unfortunately, again, this is a poor reflection on the doctor which I never saw and Pam still has yet to call. I spoke to another person, Billie, who actually chuckled when I told her about no call from Pam

Dr. Spiguel took excellent care of me during my breast cancer and follwed my long recovery and chemo. She is professional, caring, understanding and has great staff.
