She is nice but not a good dr. I was previously a patient of Dr. Johnson until he stopped seeing patients except for surgery. I was diagnosed with a rare condition that is cancerous previously with Dr. Johnson. I had surgery to remove. I came back over a yr later since I thought a lump on my neck might be the same issue as before. They assigned me to Dt Sterling. I let her know I was diagnosed with a previous condition and I thought this might be it. She looked at it and diagnosed it as a lipoma. I left and it continued to grow until I came back to discover it wasn't that. If she had only took the time to research further and read my file instead of thinking she knew what it was. And now the cancer has spread to other parts in my body. She really needs to listen to her patients especially if they have a previous issue.

After several visits and a several different prescriptions the skin condition worsened even though my symptoms didn't correlate with her diagnosis. But instead of trying to treat me for a different condition because nothing was working she continued with her orginal diagnosis. A nurse from another unrelated practice was able to get me the correct treatment and diagnosis after I stopped going to VA dermatology.

Dr Sterling is a nice individual but has to listen to her patients symptoms and concerns more closely. I went to her because of a skin condition that recently started and was getting worse. After I told her my symptoms and what I believed it was she made a different diagnosis from what I was expecting and put me on medication I had already taken for the condition and it didn't help and I told her that it didn't help. She insisted that it wasn't what I thought it was and put me on the medication anyway. When I went back to follow up, my condition started spreading further and even after I told her that I don't think it's what she thought it was she still continued with her orginal diagnosis and after 3 visits and more than 5 different medications and none of which were for the condition I believed it to be I went to an urgent care where a Physician Assistant named Jessica who had only been working there 6 months listened to what I had to say about my symptoms and prescribed me medicati

Dr. Stirling is knowledgeable, comforting, warm, patient, thorough, and clearly passionate about what she does. I've had DEKA twice, and she also removed a suspicious mole. While I'm the type to say, "Tell me EVERYTHING I can do to look younger," she doesn't try to upsell/oversell ... in fact, I find myself asking HER what I can do. She's the kind you want for a friend as well as a doctor - I LOVE her and will return time and time again, whether for aesthetics or clinical issues.

Dr. Lisa Stirling is not only a highly talented and knowledgeable Dermatologist, but she is the sweetest, most caring physician I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I unfortunately have some ongoing medical challenges so have seen a lot of doctors. She simply has an out-standing bedside manner (genuinely kind) and is so adorable that if I were I male I would definitely have a crush on her! Moreover Her staff is also excellent; one of the best medical experience of my lifetime!

Dr. Stirling is great! Caring, compassionate, attentive. She diagnosed a foot issue in matter of seconds as chilblains, when I had gone months thinking it was some sort fungus/bacteria. She's smart, diligent, and very thorough. She ordered blood work and did a biopsy at my request. I've also gone in to have moles removed, skin tags, and laser treatment for red veins on my nose. The mole she removed from my nose was done perfectly. No scars, can't even tell I ever one had one.
