Dr. Lishan Walker, MD

I have been Dr. Walker's patient for 6 years. I have always found her to be thorough, responsive and caring. I feel like she remembers me and the details of my life and health even when I have not needed to come in for more than my annual physical. I highly recommend her!

My experience with Dr. Walker (about 5 years) has been excellent. She is always receptive to my questions and concerns. I always feel as though she listens and is very thorough. Also, I never feel rushed during visits. I am very happy with her.

I find this provider incredibly dismissive about my concerns and offers no guidance or advise about the issue at hand. She fat shamed me in my after care note saying my bmi was a concern and I needed to take better care of my cardiovascular health, but didn’t ask about physical activities I was doing like training for another 5k. I felt like she saw me and made assumptions from there.

I have been seeing Dr. Walker for 4-5 years. I have never had a doctor that I liked so much. She is professional. She hears everything I have to say. She is very thorough and we have a great rapport. I would highly recommend her. I hope I never have to change to a different doctor.

Dr.walker and get staff are Excellent! Friendly and professional. On time and thorough I can’t say enough good things about this practice.

One of the most dismissive doctors I’ve ever had; she negated all of my concerns, refused to refer me on more than one occasion, and does not keep accurate records on visit summaries/notes. So, if you’re looking for reassurance, insight, or a doctor that will actually help- you might want to look anywhere else.

Dr. Walker is currently practicing in Rochester, NY so Healthgrades needs to update their files. Dr. Walker is thorough during visits and doesn't rush you through an appointment. Excellent follow up by both her and her staff should something need to be taken care of between appointments. Great primary care physician.

Dr. Lishan Walker was great! I have a very complicated medical history and was concerned because my primary doctor was unavailable. I needn't have worried. Dr. Walker stepped in with no problem. She quickly understood my medical background and addressed my having had a recent heart transplant before I even mentioned it. I could see she had carefully reviewed my file. She was prepared and ready to treat my current medical needs in light of my transplant and cancer history. She eased my fears.
