The medical staff said not necessary to wear facial masks! They said COVID issues do not affect them.

Yesterday I had the privilege to meet with Dr. Loyd Alch @Lake Regional Urgent care in Lake Sumter Old Camp Rd. The Villages,FL.I want to say he was awesome. He displayed great medical knowledge, great bedside manner, a professional attitude and service beyond reproach. He added a bit of humor to relax his patient in what could be a tense situation. I have seen Dr. Alch a multiple times. Even twice in one week. I am a senior with multiple health problems that include a compromised immune system and have a Primary and various specialists. Dr. Alch is my "go to guy". This practice has immediately diagnosed pneumonia and aggressively treated it with double therapies for 5 days to remove it. Treated dangerous dehydration, helped me rule out anemia, kidney disease et al through immediate bloodwork. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Alch. He has a sense of humor, wide ranging medical experience and does his best to get your complaint under control/care in the first visit. In a place where there are too many seniors Dr. Alch and this location are a Godsend.

Beware of this doctor. Unprofessional mannerisms probably stemming personal insecurity and God forbid you ask for something like an inexpensive prescription, he speaks to you pejoratively and says "I'm the Doctor" and says don't kiss anyone for 7 days after he writes your prescription and before he leaves the room. Unprofessional conduct.

There is not enough room for me to discuss every reason I would avoid this doctor like the plague. One, he needs to reassess his business and his oath. Two, treat children and their parents better in spite of their monetary situation. If your UC center takes Prestige, guess what, you have to TREAT people with Prestige. Also, when handling a woman's gentials, try being slow and less aggressive. You have NO idea who has been abused there before. This man is rough, dismissive, cold, and cruel.

Dr. Alsh is very personable, thorough, attentive, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to meet. He is eager to help and enjoys what he does. His great sense of humor will make you feel so at ease. I will see him soon for follow up visits after further tests.

I have never had a doctor like Alch and think he is wonderful. I've told all my friends about him and they are interested in meeting him as well. I was very sick with a sinus and bladder infection and his diagnosis was spot on. If I ever get sick again I will ask for Alch for sure. He joked around and had me laughing the whole exam. What a personality!

Dr. Alch nailed the source of my extremely elevated blood pressure (198/100) and gave me an antibiotic and doubled my BP meds. He was focused and clear about his diagnosis and recommendations. This location had just handled a female with a heart attack, so there was much tension around that. He was to the point and efficient.

Dr. Alch treated me for a badly sprained muscle with a bruise in my rib area.
