Dr. Long Huynh, MD

She has awful bedside manner. She is rude, and uncomfortable to be around. I had a horrible experience with her.

I drive from the next town over to see Dr Huynh. She is absolutely worth it. She is intelligent, knowledgeable, personable, caring… everything you want in a doctor. And you can tell she loves her job. Will never see anyone else!

Dr. Huynh has no compassion. I would not recommend her. She is all business, and takes very little time with her patients. Her practice is disorganized and off a wing of a hospital hallway. Not a comfortable environment. Pretty inconsiderate of mental health, and overall well-being of patients. She has a huge ego, and thinks she is really something special. She makes it more about herself and how great of a doctor she is than about you. BMC is absolutely awful, and it’s obvious that’s why she now works at this facility. She rushes, takes tons of patients, and doesn’t thoroughly take an interest in your family. Not for me!

Dr. Huynh is a phenomenal surgeon and OBGYN. Being in healthcare myself, I wanted someone who was compassionate, well educated and would keep the safety of me and my baby their number one priority. Dr. Huynh far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend anyone go to her for OBGYN care. She is a brilliant physician and truly made my pregnancy experience everything I had hoped for and more. Even when I was concerned about being induced early, she reassured me and gave me all the confidence that things would be ok. She came in on her day off to deliver our little girl and it was truly a remarkable experience. She exudes confidence in everything she does and is overall just a genuine/caring person. If you need an OB, look no further. BMC at AVISTA, you are SO lucky she joined your team.

So many great things to say about Dr. Huynh, im not sure where to begin. My wife and I are grateful for her kindness, wise advice, professionalism, and smile – all packaged in one, wonderful, doctor. We always felt that Dr Huynh balances 2 things: on the one hand she was happy to allow my wife to choose whatever felt right for her, and that was very important to my wife. On the other hand, she was always clear and firm when any medical issue had to take precedence over what we wanted – and we appreciated that as well. Bottom line – Dr Huynh is a great OB, who will make you feel supported and safe.

If you are looking for someone who will make you feel comfortable in a situation that is VERY uncomfortable, it's Dr. Huynh! I was very nervous for my first visit with her, but she made me feel at ease (as much as I could, anyway) and was really accommodating to my anxiety.

I cannot day enough wonderful things about Dr. Huynh. After a less than great experience 30 weeks into my pregnancy with another physician/practice I went on the stressful task of finding a new doctor. The moment my husband and I met Dr. Huynh we knew she was who we wanted. Her enthusiasm and ability to educate her patients was wonderful. I never felt rushed during my appointments, she always made me feel like I mattered! Her assistant Danielle is great too!

Dr. Huynh is hands down the best doctor I've had the pleasure to work with! I began to see her when I became pregnant with my son as I had not yet established an ob/gyn after moving to the area several years ago. She was amazing both throughout my pregnancy and during delivery and I highly recommend her! Her nurse Danielle was also fantastic!

Dr. Huynh is just the absolute best there is. She provided my OB care of the second half of my pregnancy and delivered my son. After having some relatively minor issues after the birth of my first child, I was looking for an OB to help advise me on options. She completely eased all of my concerns, helped develop a plan that worked, and provided the best birth experience I could imagine. I am so thankful that she was my doctor.

Dr. Huynh is one of the most compassionate doctors I’ve encountered. Not having children, many times I feel almost a burden to an OB/GYN but never with Dr. Huynh - She cares about my overall health, both physical and mental. She listens intently, makes me comfortable, and went above and beyond to ensure my surgery provided me with the best recovery, not necessarily the fastest and easiest way for her. I trust her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a change.
