I am sorry I had a appointment with him
I saw Dr. Fishman years ago and he was very inappropriate with me. He overstepped the boundries of a doctor and his patient, humiliated me and left an emotional scar that has not healed.

I have been participating in Dr Fishman’s free weekly zoom classes during the pandemic. They have been on the use of yoga to treat various medical problems: osteoarthritis of the hip, knee, shoulder problems, lower back pain, insomnia. He is clear and easy to understand; so kind and helpful. He Took time after to answer questions from the participants.. Years ago I was in his yoga study on yoga poses for osteoporosis.I still do the poses every day. I have one of his books. I wish I lived close enough to go in person. I am so grateful for his wisdom and his willingness to share it.

Dr. Fishman is an extremely caring professional who takes the time to properly assess your medical condition and address the problem area(s) with innovative techniques to provide long-lasting relief from chronic pain. No other Rehab specialist was able to help with persistent right hip pain, resulting from an accident. Would highly recommend consulting Dr. Fishman for any unresolved, chronic pain issues.

I would wake up each night with terrible pain in the right side of my thoracic spine. I had gone to several physiatrists but non one was able to help (other than prescribing a muscle relaxant). Dr. Fishman was the first doctor who actually took an interest in the situation. He and his yoga practitioner suggested several, daily exercises (which I did diligently) and the pain disappeared after only 2 weeks. I would definitely go back to see Dr. Fishman, who is kind and humorous and knowledgable.

Had I followed Dr. Fishman’s advice and done yoga and physical therapy after he saw the severity of my herniated disc and not gotten further opinions and consequently a laminectomy, I’d still be using a walker and very likely have permanent nerve damage. Had my problem been minor,, I think I would’ve benefited from his yoga/physical therapy recommendations.

Dr Loren staff is terrible. He also Forces very expensive yoga sessions on you. Despite not having much money he still pushed me to do it, i had a rushed yoga session for 15 min for 100$ which is downright thievery . His front desk staff probably would not bat an eyelash if you dropped dead in his waiting room, they are so rude and unfriendly. Despite Dr Loren being good at what he does, his staff and forced yoga sessions are enough for me to never return.

Excellent experience for PRP in arthritic knees. Easy, painless. Wanted both knees done, but after consulting with other doctors, he decided to do one knee only, due to my anemia. I go back in a month for the other knee. Look forward to that. Wish he lived closer. I would go for personal instruction in yoga for osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and scoliosis. Cannot say enough good things about him.

I have been in constant pain for years and have seen over 30 doctors and physical therapists. Dr. Fishman spent a lot of time with me and finally diagnosed me with severe piriformis syndrome. He discovered my entrapped nerve and referred me to a surgeon who treats this. Dr. Fishman has been so kind and communicative through it all. He is extremely compassionate and by far, the most knowledgeable doctor I have dealt with. I would recommend him highly to anyone searching for help with their pain.

My experience with Dr. Fishman was outstanding . I came to him with severe back pain. He was able to see me promptly on a busy near-holiday day. He was reasuring, enormously helpful, informative an accurate in his testing and diagnosis an explanation. He made sure I got just the right medication and an immediate MRI and was available for every kind of after-care. My back pain problem has been totally resolved thanks to him and his excellent, helpful staff. Thank you, Dr. Fishman.

One of the worst experiences ever. The staff is grouchy and unfriendly. The Doctor is always late, acts very rushed while constantly being interrupted. The physical therapist treats 2 patients at once - you only get half of the treatment. They tried to double bill me after the insurance company had already paid and were too disorganized to easily rectify. Never once did the practice contact me or to follow up or check in. I can't even get through on the phone to transfer records. Avoid.

Dr. Fishman is a first rate self-promoter and advertiser of his own qualities. His modus operandi is erratic. He gets (and allows) constant interruptions by his staff, with matters unrelated to the issues at hand, in the middle of examinations. If you want a doctor's undivided attention, you'd better look elsewhere.

Dr. Loren Fishman guided me through an inexorably horrific host of debilitating and excruciatingly painful physical injuries which were and remain the result of being struck by a city bus traveling at a high rate of soeed while I was legally parkedin Manhattan. After seeking assistance with five purported pain soecialists, none could render relief, until a valued friend referred me to Dr. Fishman. Had it not been for Dr. Fishman's brilliant unparalleled care I could not have survived.
