Dr. Zimmerman performed both a colonoscopy and endoscopy for me. She genuinely cares about her patients, is an expert in her field, and was able to perform procedures from which many conclusive results have aided in my care.

Dr. Zimmerman followed my son when he was an infant (into toddlerhood) for about 2.5 years, and we saw her every 3-6 months so we got to know her quite well. I can’t even begin to tell you what we went through with my little one, but she was the key to resolving all of it. She is a patient, caring, and empathetic doctor whose assessments are thorough and comprehensive. Dr. Zimmerman will not stop until she knows your child is happy, healthy, and thriving. We were lucky to have landed in her very capable hands.

Dr Zimmerman is an amazing doctor! She is very smart and an expert in IBD, but she is also kind and humble and views herself as part of a team with our daughter and us. She is warm and has a great sense of humor and we never feel rushed. She emails back and forth particularly when our daughter is in a flare, and is amazing with teenagers. I can't recommend her highly enough. We had to switch away from 2 doctors at Children's before we found Dr. Z because they were condescending and didn't listen, whereas we always feel heard and supported. My daughter has been really sick this past year with Colitis and we know that we are in the best hands. We are very grateful to have found her.
