Outstanding surgeon and human being

I was highly recommended to Dr. Fritts from a former patient and I was excited to think my parathyroid situation would be finally figured out. However she wanted me to have a cat scan and was going to submit it to the insurance company. After almost 3 months and several phone calls I still don't have an answer on the cat scan and they say they will call me back and never do. A bit disappointed.

Dr Fritts herself was wonderful. I found her to be caring and thorough in her evaluation of my new diagnosis of Thyroid cancer. She spoke to my husband and me about testing she wanted to order, that she wanted to obtain my pathology slides and CT/UltraSound disks, all so she could review and have her pathologists review. We left her office knowing this was our surgeon! Fast forward 3 weeks. After leaving three messages requesting a call and NO attempt by her or her staff to get the slides or disks, I have yet to hear back from ANYONE in that office. How many phone messages do you leave before you realize they don't want to help you?? Perhaps her office is too busy or my case isn't enough of a priority. I suspect I will never know the answers but one thing i can say, NO patient should ever be made to feel like they aren't worth a phone call back. Look elsewhere if you are able and read reviews left in other places online (like Google). You will find this treatment is not the exception.

Dr. Lori Fritts is a very compassionate and caring doctor and surgeon. She explains things in great detail to make sure you understand what is being discussed. After my surgery my body did not respond the way it should've. Dr. Fritts was with me everyday at the hospial through a holiday weekend to follow thru with my care. She was amazing. Jen, her MA has been very supportive when I contact the office. Sometimes you have to be a bit persistent when calling the office but I have found that pretty common with most doctors offices unfortunately.

I have had excellent doctors all over the USA and Dr. Fritts is one of the best. She is calm, takes time to explain things without talking down to you, and leaves you feeling as though you are her only patient. You might have to wait a long time to get the first appointment but she is worth the wait. She answered every question and provided information that I hadn't thought to ask. I would recommend her to anyone on the basis of her skill and knowledge, and her office manner. She is a great doctor.

Dr. Fritts is one of the best doctors I’ve encountered. She actually takes the time to explain things and listen to your concerns. I never felt rushed. Her demeanor is calm, and this in turn, helped to make the difficult situation of having a health issue, more bearable. I always felt like I was in good hands, physically and emotionally. Her bedside manner is absolutely wonderful. Not only is she a caring doctor who listens, she’s also highly intelligent and a skilled surgeon. She performed my thyroid surgery, which went smoothly, without issues, and the scar is healing nicely. I can barely see it. I highly recommend her.

I had thyroid surgery with Dr. Fritts. There is no more caring Doctor than she is! From the first time I met with her she listened and answered all my questions before I could ask them! She is right there with you, from beginning to end. Her team is the best! And I have hardly any scar from it! She is the top Doctor in thyroid surgery. Highly recommend her!

There is no better surgeon anywhere, I am convinced. Brilliant, compassionate, calming, and with the steadiest hand and most delicate eye-hand coordination, she will save your life. She has saved mine four times now and treated me as though I were her only patient. Which is why you will wait a long time to see her, and be glad you did! I am laden with gratitude for being alive each day because of this extraordinary woman.

Dr. Fritts has outstanding people skills, takes great care to listen to patients’ concerns and spends time to address same. The wait was long, but once I met her, I understood why. If you are looking for competent, compassionate care, Dr. Fritts’s should be your surgeon.

Dr, Fritts treated me during my diagnosis and treatment of thyroid cancer. Not only is her bedside manner amazing and calming, but her knowledge and willingness to explain and answer my questions was so helpful. I did require surgery and was so impressed with my healing afterward. She is as skilled as they come. My husband and I are both healthcare providers and would recommend Dr. Fritts.

Dr. Fritts did my parathyroidectomy. She was caring, thoughtful, detailed and experienced. I felt that I was under the best care with her doing my surgery. I went to her because she was recommended by a friend who had the same surgery.

The best doctor in the entire USA,highly recommend her for throyd removal,she and her hospital staff are the best . You may have a long wait in the waiting room, but it is worth it,she spent one hour with me,and took her time,you want no one to do your operation but this wonderful Doctor, so bring your iPad and phone for your appointment or a book,trust me you only want this doctor.
