If you want a caring doctor, I cannot recommend Dr. Lorie Blessing highly enough. She will carefully take your history and guide you through any health issues you may have. She suggested my cardiologist who I love. When I first met with Dr. Blessing, she advised me about how the guidelines for different illnesses (i.e. diabetes) change with age. Doctors not specializing in senior care often overmedicate as they use the standards for those patients in their 50s. Dr Blessing has always been kind to me, my daughter, and my husband often guiding us with any other labs or specialists needed. I have been her patient for 14 or 15 years now and I will never see any other geriatric doctor. I am a chronic pain patient so I have had to deal with many different doctors. Dr Blessing is kind, thoughtful, and always helpful.

She is very through
Dr Blessing is a very through doctor she asks questions and digs deeper. She is very knowledgeable and I am so grateful for that. After dealing with doctors that aren’t interested just want to get to next patient type..I feel like she really listens and understands emotionally and physically. Thank goodness I found her.

She is a great Doctor! Dr. Blessing helped us with my father-in-law that has dementia and we really appreciate her. All the Doctors seem busy these days for sure but I would highly recommend her to anyone dealing with aging parents.

SAW HER ONCE AT HER INDEPENDENCE AND SPRING CREEK LOCATION. SHE WAS TO CONTACT ME ABOUT SOME BLOOD WORK BUT NEVER DID. WENT TO THE LOCATION AND FOUND IT CLOSED WITH NO FORWARDING INFORMATION OR PHONE CALL. JUST DISAPPEARED. THAT IS PATIENT ABANDONMENT. A COUPLE OF YEARS LATER I WAS DRIVING DOWN K STREET AND NOTICED HER NEW LOCATION. DON'T BOTHER WITH HER AS SHE IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

Dr. Blessing has not responded to any calls, texts or faxes from me or my specialist providers or pharmacists in 3 months. Medication renewals and specialist referrals are critically overdue. Her office recording is 'on' but there is no follow-through.

Dr. Blessing is a fine Dr. however her office is not answering the phone or email messages for appointments. The wait time after arriving for appointment to see the Dr is excessive, more that 1 hr or more.

I have never had a doctor so caring and thorough. She leaves no stone unturned. After going to several other doctors and even ERs and being dismissed, she was the only doctor that I found who cared about my wife who has dementia. It was as if we didn’t matter to anyone because we are “old”. Dr. Blessing gives you hope and when everyone else could care less. Because of her, my wife is able to stay at home with me instead of a nursing home for now. I wouldn’t dare think of seeing another doctor.

Dr Belitere-Blessing is a total delight. Not only is she caring, friendly and knowledgeable, but takes her time and is completely thorough. She asked me questions no one had ever asked before and pointed out things no one had ever noticed. I consider myself very fortunate to have found her.

This doctor is phenomenal. I have read all of her reviews and most are hateful and ridiculous regarding unexpected issues that caused her to have to move offices suddenly. It is sad that pepile write things like that when the reality is, she is a phenomenal doctor and I don’t care how many times she moves - I will follow her until the day I die. The best diagnostician I have ever met. You want someone who spends time with you AND can fix you - it’s DR. BLESSING

Dr. Blessing is a great physician. Her office recently changed locations due to old office had issues with the integrity of the building. I have many issues resulting from my years training police dogs. She always treats my conditions with great competence spending as much time needed to accomplish her goals during my appointments. Her PA is very competent and caring. You don’t find many doctors willing to spend the time she dedicates to your appointments.

No one answers the primary office number and the voicemail box is full. Since she assumed the practice for Dr. Laila Hirjee earlier in 2017, I have been unable to speak to Dr. Blessing personally or schedule a meeting with her regarding the care of my mother. Have been told Dr. Blessing is very busy and is unavailable (certainly is true for my mother). Looks like this practice has bitten off more than they can chew and their patients are left to fend for themselves.

I wish I knew what is going on in her practice. Dr Blessing cancelled the last 2 appointments for my mother. My mother now needs Hospice but we need Dr Blessing to order it. I regret that Dr Blessing is my mothers only doctor so we have no one else to turn to. She wants to die at home not in an hospital but Dr Blessing's non response to my many messages is forcing us to take my mother to ER and admit her to the hospital..

Terrible care. This physician assumed care of a patient at an assisted living facility. Has taken 19 calls (with minimal and rare returned calls) to get a nurse practitioner to see patient after a hospital visit, and then tests are lost or not ordered and care discussed is not given.

Thorough & highly intelligent doctor. Great staff. She is well known in the area for being one of the most highly regarded specialists in her field. It is refreshing to read so many nice things written about someone. The norm is to only see people taking the time to write negative things. I always recommend her to anyone willing to listen. She is such a beautiful person, I personally want to know that I am part of her success by taking the time to write this review and recommending her often.

Have used Dr Blessing for a few years now and find her to be a wonderful doctor. She is kind and takes as much time as necessary to help her patients. When tests were needed she was able to do most of them, or sent you on to where they could be obtained, and it was always locally. My only concern is that she is now 'out on her own' and as a single mother, I have had an appointment cancelled due to her child's illness. Otherwise I can't say enough good things about her.
