Uninformed
If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. This neurologist is a person you would never want at a bedside. While my husband sat in front of her extremely sick asking for help, she ignored him and spoke to me about his imminent death (untrue), his need for a “proactive” tracheotomy (rubbish), and, to paraphrase, take him out back and shoot him because there’s no hope.I had to ask her to leave the hospital room multiple times. This woman had never spoken to my husband and had very little information about his situation. She is the least educated neurologist I’ve ever met - she obvs passed tests but has zero rounded knowledge of human connection. Be aware…

Thorough
Her colleague had initially evaluated me for a condition that had developed during my pregnancy and worsened after delivery. This colleague attempted to dissuade me from further imaging on the basis that the condition did not appear to be neurological. Luckily, after reviewing my case, Dr. Misra pushed for an MRI out of an abundance of caution, which finally led to a correct diagnosis after months of suffering in pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. Misra for your care.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Misra?
Dr. Misra was able to diagnose my neurological issues along with several issues not related to neurology. Frequently, she was able to just look at me and suggest I see my PCP or another specialist and each time her hunch was correct. I found Dr. Misra to be able to answer any and all questions or knew where to refer me if it was something outside of her area without any difficulty. It helps for the patient to pay attention to the doctor and ask for clarification anytime when needed.
