Mixed
Mixed: my appointments were cancelled and rescheduled 3 times as a new patient. I was advised that he was having problems. When I did see him very briefly, my 2 next visits were completed by his PA. My visit in Dec. 2013 he actually to talked to me. He stated all thy tests from the lab work looked good. Way back in May of last year, he put me on a new medication to get my cholesterol in line. In December, the new med. showed significant improvement. I was scheduled for my next visit Feb. 21st. at 8:30time changed to 9:30.Today, February 14th., I did not see any follow up scheduled on My Chart, I have contacted Patient Portal to verify my appt. It's now in their hands. .

Gaslighter
I went in to see him in 2022 after years of seeing various specialist who couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me and discovering a symptom I hadn’t noticed before, tachycardia upon standing. He ordered several tests and scheduled a follow up, which I was already nervous about because he was incredibly rude during that first appointment. Went to the follow up and he walks in, sits down and looks at the test results for what very much seems to be the first time. He tells me that there’s nothing wrong with me, and blames each of my symptoms on something different from medications, to age to weight. My husband politely asks if he had any thoughts as to wether it could be POTS. He rudely tells us it’s not without ever even taking orthostatic vitals. I have since seen other doctors and have been diagnosed with POTS by Dr Amer Suleman vía a tilt table test and am on medication, diet and exercise regimens and have finally gotten some quality of life back.

Saved my life!
Marvelous! Dr. Cristol called me and told me that an emergency has arisen and told me my left carotid artery was blocked and surgery was needed. He spoke with the surgeon, then called me and told me to get to the ER as quickly as possible. I went and and after many tests, I had my surgery. He is the absolute best cardiologist I have ever had. He has never been rude to me or brushed me off. He's always been nice to me. And, I am thankful for him and his staff to help me.

Very Unprofessional
My husband had an appointment with him today. He walked in asked how he was doing it’s been awhile since he saw him. We was like, uh no sir this is our 1st visit we were referred by his primary doctor. He checked his BP told him it was high & prescribed some meds on his computer only have taking 5 minutes to renew a subscription that kept popping up in his computer. I’m thinking, so we’re paying you to take care of your personal duties on our time. Moving forward we are at the end of the visit & he not once mentioned his results of the EKG that the nurse took before he came in. So I asked him about that, his response was that he was a “Board Certified Cardiologist” and began mumbling words we couldn’t understand as he continued to walk out of the room. I said so what about the results that his primary gave us, this man just walked off. If he thinks that we are going to come back to him, he’d better think again. This is our lives & we are at least expecting you to pretend like you care.

New patient here…after the assistant took my vitals she took me to the Dr’s office. He walks in and says my last name and then says his last name, I guess that’s how he introduces himself?! He didn’t even acknowledge my husband. He’s on the computer/laptop/phone the ENTIRE time looking up my records, asking me questions. As I was telling him my story(having an elevated pulse) he continued on the computer! No eye contact, I felt like he wasn’t listening or cared. He said my EKG was fine, not concerned since I didn’t have any symptoms & very healthy. He said that many Dr’s would do all kinds of testing but he’s not that way. I said I appreciated his honesty! We got up and he pointed for us to “go that way” to have a report printed per my request. I turn around and he’s GONE! What?! No thank you? No I’m glad you came in to get checked out? No have a great day? RUDE! Dr Cristol was unprofessional from the start, I felt like a # and not a person!

Dr. Cristol does not listen to his patients or their family members. Very rude, talks over you, answered his cell phone multiple times while accessing my father. I would not feel comfortable having this doctor see anyone in my family without me or another person present to advocate for them. I have never in my life gotten into an argument with a doctor until him, I typically avoid all conflict. He made his mind up before even asking any questions and when you express concerns that contradict his opinion he gets defensive, talks over you and tells you not to tell him how to practice medicine. It was a terrible experience that left me in tears. My concerns for my father were in no way meant to insult his professional ability but it was taken as such and he responded extremely defensively and told me to stop talking. Recorded the entire conversation. The worst experience I’ve ever had speaking with a professional.

He doesn’t listen. Waited 1.5 hours after scheduled appt. he came in picking food from his teeth. Ordered meds I have had bad reactions to and insists I take an injectible statin med when I have had bad reactions to every statin on the market and red yeast rice. After appt he appeared more interested in joking with staff.
