I have been seeing Dr. May today for my second colonoscopy in 10 years and he hasn’t changed at all. His expertise, effectiveness without being stressed and his affable nature bring one at ease for any gastro related procedure. I can only highly recommend this excellent doctor with whom I can even have a quick chat about the mutual joys of skiing!

Dr. May is great, professional but his office is pretty bad. The assistants are rude, disrespectful, and the wait times are really long. The schedulers give the wrong information to patients about appointment times and dates! It happened to at least three people while I was waiting. It’s horrible to show up to a colonoscopy having preped the night before to be told they scheduled your appointment wrong and you have to wait another hour or reschedule!

I have been treated by Dr. May since he first began his practice, and have been pleased to the extent that I have been willing to travel 50 miles (from Staten Island to Rockland County) to see him. I have found him to be thorough, caring, clear in his communication, and non-alarmist. I feel that I have been receiving excellent treatment from him for all the years that I have been his patient.

Dr. May is a great guy. He made me feel very comfortable about a procedure, I thought only old people get. He walked me through what was going to happened and made me feel at ease. His nurses were very funny and warm as well.

I have been going to Dr May since 1990, and have never had any issues or problems. Wait time has been minimal. The staff is professional, courteous and prompt. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. May to friends relatives and acquaintances.

Although the doctor is professional and knowledgeable, the wait time in the office is terrible. I had to wait 2 hours for a visit just to have a consult. I waited about 1.5 hours for a colonoscopy.
