Dr. Pilati did not respect my husband's concern about his leg which had plastic surgery and skin graphs many years ago. He had a male in his office wrap it with gauze, cotton, an an elastic bandage from his toes to his knee, although the actual sore was a fraction of an inch near his ankle. My husband expressed his concern about the bandage being too tight to the nurse. She said that if it was uncomfortable after a couple days he could take off the outer bandage, but he had so much pain in his leg the first night that he removed the elastic bandage during the night. He continued to have pain from the remaining bandages and took them off before his follow-up visit a week later. He explained to the doctor about taking the bandage off. The doctor said he wanted to put on wrap it again from the ankle to the knee. When my husband refused to let him wrap it again Dr Pilati said then I can't help you. You do not need to come back.
